Closing an account..what could be your reason for doing so?

Let's talk about account/s ,think of any account/s.
Earning site- you are earning right,so why you did you closed your account?
Social site- you are socializing with friends,real life and virtual,so why did you closed your account?
Bank account/s- you're saving money,so why did you close your account?
Checking account,credit cards,uhmnn whatever account/s -then friends what's the valid reason for closing your account?
Some mylotters leave mylot site,i wonder if they closed their account here,or they just leave it there.
Some came back using a new account,and it's nice to know good mylotters coming back.
I remember i also closed one of my account in a social site,and i missed my friends there.
Anyway,true friends knows how to reach me...and some friends find ways how to reach me too.
How about you dear friends/mylotters-if someone close to you( in your friends lists) closed their account,do you find ways to contact that person,or you just try to forget them.?

My general reasons for closing any account is the site or business made false claims or did not deliver the type of promises or services that they said
Or just don't have the time or money to spend on business or site
Lost interest because site required too much or impossible amounts activity for members to earn
Now if your talking about standard social sites like facebook or twitter, and myspace etc..I would only close those if I was being seriously harassed to the point that I became uncomfortable or if I no longer had time to bother with them.
But thankfully I have only had to close a few accounts, but facebook myspace twitter mylot will not be apart of that short list of closed accounts at least not anytime soon lol.

That's something that these business/scam so far ..better close those accounts and be careful next time...there's a lot on the net we are not that safe.

About your topic well many times I want to delete my account in Orkut and Facebook but for many reasons i still keep them besides i don't want my friends to miss me much LOL.........
Bank accounts well lucky me i can still maintain the maintaining balance there and you know i need to save some for our India travel soon hehehe!
I was attempt to delete my mylot account before you know the reason and some mylotters too but i rather keep it hope you too.
Well Tuesday is Darn Hot hope you will be fine soon.

i think you are cursing many people as you mentioned some names don't worry i will not reveal it here

Many users close their mylot account rather stop logging in to mylot account because they do not find it attractive from earning point of view. Recently, one of the dear friends left mylot for good because she felt insulted by remarks of some of the users and she took it to her heart. Social sites like Facebook are altogether are different ball game and I feel some of the users close their account because they feel that they are getting exposed to their friends or friends' friends' more than what they could have initially thought of. I normally do not close my account on any site, however, if I don't enjoy working on any site, I stopped signing in.

So you never deleted any account,that's good for you.
It's not easy to delete an account especially with social sites where you communicate
with friends and love ones.
I deleted once an Orkut account,but i created a new one because i miss my friends there and from that site i met real friends in person.

For me, I have never closed any account in web and I really don’t have any idea how to close an account. If I don’t want to use any site then I will stop to visit that site
. Regarding the bank account once I closed one of my bank account. The reason was, I changed my job and the bank was the payment for earlier job and once I changed the location then it becomes difficult for me to go and visit that branch so I closed it. I can’t remember any other closure of account at present dear.

hi sis,
Yeah recently i closed account on one paying earning chat site, its started new rules which made the environment very suffocated so i stopped there.Orkut also i have left now as i am more on facebook now and i found old friends and colleagues in facebook.

There are lots of reason why anyone chooses to close his/her account.Like me i have joined several earning sites which promises everything but later on you found out they either stop or you closed it because they are just waste your time.I canname a few sites which I still visit but my favorite is Mylot.

I closed a bank account in Kuwait...when we moved from there to India. And I also closed a bank account from Trivandrum when I got married and moved to Bangalore.
Mylot is the only earning site that I really function at...I did join a few other sites through friends' recommendations but I'm not really active anywhere else. But I am yet to close those accounts (lazy me!!). A social site that I am on but do not use lately is Orkut...haven't closed that account either (same reason as above :P)

hello jaiho, there are umpteen reasons why people close certain accounts.Maybe they do not have the time to access an account or maybe they have moved to a different location, or maybe they find it inconvenient or maybe they are just not interested anymore.It is difficult to pinpoint any one reason as everyone has a different reason to close an account.There are many sites of which i was a member but did not close any account and just allowed them to lapse.However i have continued with my Facebook and Myspacce account though i hardly evern access them,especially myspace and i am thinking of closing this one.However i am still undecided and keeping it pending.

Hi jaiho2009,
There are a lot of reasons a person can close or deactivate their account. Recently, I read on the news that Facebook closed all accounts by the name of Kate Middleton (the wife of Prince William) because Facebook didn't want anybody to create a false account under her name.
I haven't been using mylot for more than a year, and recently I logged in and found that that it hasn't been closed ( I was so relieved). At that time I was just bored about the site so I just left it unused. Usually that's what people do, they don't close their account manually but leave it for a long time until it gets closed automatically.

I also wonder how many people are doing such thing,as creating hoax account in facebook.
I can see celebrities having account,to find out it's not their official account.
I deleted one social account too due to some misunderstanding,and created a new one,it's not in facebook.
And when i get bored from that social site,i open a facebook account.
I enjoy having inter-action with friends in facebook,i really love that site.

I am not in any social sites, only in mylot, i enjoy this, have wonderful friends here too, some are like family members, some more than that; you are my and Professor's cute daughter, he is busy with examination assignments
