I noticed last winter it had been the coldest here in 20 years where I live and last summer here was hotter than the summers before, now all these tornadoes, hurricanes, storms, flooding all around us happening as we speak. It is scary to me and makes me think is 2012 really going to happen? I don't know, but I really don't think so. Well I hope not.

Every winter here is getting colder and colder with record amounts of snow and ice as well as record low temperatures. Honestly, I don't want the world to get cooler. While you live in a warm part of the world, I live where it is very cold part of the year and it's getting colder.
If global warming were real, wouldn't it be global instead of just where you live?
Global Warming is a hoax perpetrated by people who stand to make a lot of money from convincing all of us that somehow we have managed to change the weather. Worse, they will use this as a way to wipe out a large part of the population by denying them energy and the use of their natural resources - in third world countries especially. And they don't call it 'Global Warming' anymore because the world isn't getting warmer. They now call it 'Climate Change' since their predictions of warming never came true. Change is a good word, they can claim any change is proof of their theory. Truly, these guys are charlatans and scam artists.
If you check global temperatures, there has been no increase in more than a decade. I am sure that the temperatures where you are go through cyclical changes as well. Here's hoping that you soon enter a cooler cycle. But please, don't buy into the hoax.

It is now time for us to act to fight against global warming.
We all can contribute in a large manner to prevent global warming and make sure our children have a better future and a better earth.
As a first step, Stop using vehicles for short distances which are walkable. If your your office is within 5 Km use bi-cycle to commute to office/school. Stop using plastic covers, use a container or an eco-friendly bag to carry your things or still better use a back-pack. Also use public transport as much as possible or if you are comfortable using a private vehicle try to club your journey with your family member or friend.

Sorry, but even if you halved the population of India from one thousand million to five hundred million and saved all that energy consumption it would not make the slightest difference to your weather. There are natural forces involved that are far more powerful and influential than man.
However we can do something about WASTE and we should all try to do something to reduce it.

It is hard but not impossible to but a stop on global warming. However, there has to be sincere effort from every individual. If you are trying to make a change yourself, then stop using much of electricity, use CFL bulbs, stop deforestation, start using the personal two wheeler and four wheeler. Avoid burning waste, stop using polythene, and plenty.
And the most importantly join GREENPEACE program in your area, it will bring more awareness and maybe you could be an important role model in your area.

In our own simple way we can help our planet earth and lessen if not solve the global
warming by just simply turning off the lights when we're not using it. We should
unplug all the appliances we are not using. Use paper bags instead of plastic bags.
When I go to the market I always bring a basket so that there's no need to use
plastic bags. I always refuse vendors who were giving me plastic bags to put the
products I have bought.
