Long distance relationship, can love keep it alive?

When your special someone went out of the country for work, you can't do nothing but to wait for him/her coming back. Loneliness and feeling of missing someone is your major enemy. Temptation comes in a long run. Faithfulness, trust and respect well be tested. Can you manage to preserve the romance between you and him/her? What do you think?

Pray for it.Trust, believe and have faith bout the relationship.and do not do things that will destroy your relationship..find time to communicate online..i have a lot of friends who has a long distance relationship and they ended up marrying each other. and lived a happy life with a lot of happy kids...it's also part of maturity.. hope this helps.. :]

I think if you believe in the relationship then the two of you can work out :) My sister & brother in law were together for a long time, college they went their ways and remained together now they're happily married.

I think if you truly love each other then sure long distance can survive even though it will kill you in the inside because you can't see each other but all that will be over the minute you first see the person. I think a lot of jealousy will be running through your minds but you calm down and realize that you're being paranoid and there's no chance the person will cheat on you.

Thank you for your words, it makes me feel a bit better now. You're right sometimes I've got jealous and vise-versa even though without valid reasons. Maybe because we missed each other. It is just hard when we fought and have miss understanding. We cannot settle it right away because of the availability of each other.
Imagine you can only talk through phone and computer. So when your busy you cannot respond immediately. All you need to do is leave a message and wait for a reply.
