I had bought a pineapple this weekend and it was only 99 cents at Aldi's and it is already gone!! He he he I beat my husband to the last piece!! He is always eating all the fruit! L.O.L.
Not this time!! He he he he !! I can not get over how good it was I guess I forgot what fresh fruit tasted like anyway since I never seem to get any right after I buy it, Pineapples, Oranges especially the oranges he can eat a whole bag in a day!! Gotta find a stash place for those things! Maybe that's why it tasted so good because I never get any? You think?

When pinapples are in season we can even buy pineapples here for as low as 50 cents so we can really feast on this nutritious fruit without spending that much. I love pineapples but I want to eat with iodized salt and I prefer to eat them with watermelon cubes. I think pineapple and watermelon make a very refreshing combination. I just love munching these tropical fruits.

I like to mix fuits too in a bowl like Oranges, banannas, apples and what is really good on the side with some yogurt!! Yummy!!

OMG I am driving a friend to Aldis on Thursday morning and well since I just posted to your other discussion about my love for pineapples, guess what I will be picking up while I am there.
I have not been to Aldis in a while and did not realize they were low priced there. The last time I bought a whole pineapple I paid well over two bucks almost three so now I do know each time she needs a ride there where to get my pineapples. Even if that is a sale price I am sure it will be less then our major food store. Yeah!

~L~ I think food always tastes better when you know that you got the last piece. Maybe it's because we 'savor' it more? Or maybe it was just a really good pinapple.
Hidding places are good, just don't forget the fruit is there! That could really smell bad in a week or two. ;)
