Hard being a military Wife

Everybody thinks that it is easy to be a military wife but it's not. Being a mother of two and having my husband in the army is very hard. Some time he gets deployed and I have to do everything by myself and help my kids to understand why daddy had to leave. It is very hard dealing with the stress from deployment especially when your husband gets sent to Afghanistan. I was so stress out it was hard for me to function because I was afraid that my husband might not come back my best fear. You can never prepare for anything being a army wife because your husband put his life on the line every day so you don't know what to expect.I may not agree with deployment or anything dealing with the army but I do it because I love my husband and that's enough to get by.

hi I have always admired how military wives take it on the chin and keep up the home front and care for the children and miss their husband dreadfully. It has to be very hard knowing he could be in great danger and probably is and yet be a happy smiling mom at the same time. I feel for you really. You have to be mom and dad and field all the questions bright little kids will ask about Daddy.Oh my Afghanistan and its so violent over there too. I will send all my prayers your way hoping God will see fit to protect your hubby and send him back to you soon.Good Luck

I can't even imagine what you go through each time your husband gets deployed. I have been a single mother of two and know how hard it is to get by on our own. However being a military wife has to be quite difficult, with the worries and added stress of not knowing about his safety.
Many blessings to him, you and your children and that you get to enjoy being together as a family for many, many years.
