Or do you do something else to watch your weight, or do you not worry about it at all?
I used to count calories and tried to eat healthy things and limit fattening foods. But now after having my son, I don't always have time or the money to but onlu healthy things, and need conveniace food. Sometimes I will by veggies and cut them in serving sizes and snack on those, but not always.
What do you do to eat healthy?

i don't count the calories of the food that i eat.. i just think that i won't be able to enjoy what i am eating if i am counting and conscious of the amount of calories it has.. although i know it is important to take note of the calories that we intake.. i am trying to appreciate more the benefits of eating vegetables and fruits and drinking more water.. :)

I found this too. I enjoyed some fiid and when I was counting I would not be able to enjoy my "free" days. Lots of water is good.

I never have to count the calories because I am thin already. Besides, no matter how much I eat, it is not easy to pull on weights. I think it is very troublesome to count the calories and especially we don't have such kind of calory list for the food. Here if a person wants to lose the weight, usually we will eat less or do some exercise. But seldom people will count the calories.
I love China

Yes your lucky too. You don't often see an over weight person from China. Perhaps we Americans should look more into your diet and eat better fresh foods.

This is very true. A variety is a good thing. Of halthy food mostly and then add in some fat but in moderation.

here in canada, any packaged foods have to (by law) have a listing on the side of not only what the ingredients but a break down of percentages of vitamins, fats, calories, sugars, etc which is very helpful. that is how i cut calories. o read the package in the store to see what the package says.

Yeah thats good. Most thing here in the US has that too. I look at these most of the time, but if its something I really want or want to try then I will sometimes ignore them. lol

I don't even know what a calorie is and don't really care. I eat what I want. I've never had a weight problem or watched my weight. I've never been on a diet in my life. I was born naturally thin so were my parents so for me it's in the genes. I do try to eat healthy and I love sweets but I have cut way down because I don't want to get diabetes or other health problem. A lot of the additives and preservetive in our food is killing us so I am really getting away from eating a lot of processed and canned foods. Everything in moderation I say.

Your very lucky. I too try to stay away from the additives and preservatives when I can. All the prcessed food... it's why the American population is know as being over weight as we have too many convienace meals and it's just so easy to grab these... I fall victum to this most often now I have a baby because I dfont have time to make food from scratch, but when I can I will grab a healthy convienace meal.

I count my calories especially when going on a strict diet, and trying to shed my pounds. I count my calories to make sure that I'm eating my daily intake of 1,200 calories. Because if I consume less than 1,200 calories than I can say goodbye to my dream of loosing weight.

That is true.. some people think that they can just cut down on calories and they dont think/know that you still need a certain amount to keep everything runnning right other wise you body with burn the calories from your muscle instead of your fat.

I don't count calories as such, rather as try to stay within a healthy limit. I know when I'm having a normal day, and when I've gone over without having to count each individual calorie. I think how your diet is split up into the food groups is much more important. 300 calories of protein/unsaturated fats/wholemeal carbs is a lot better for you than 300 calories sat fat/sugar so I place more importance on food groups when trying to stay healthy.
