Recently, one of the local television channels frequently read out a Chinese proverb, " Because of books, poor people become rich, rich people become noble."
The intention of this short program is to encourage more people to read more books.
For me, I believe in it because many Chinese political leaders in our society are from poor families.
They are successful in their careers because of the education.
If we want to be rich, we must study hard.
If we are already rich, we must study hard to become noblesses.
Here, I just want to stress out that we must have the knowledge to earn more and we have have more knowledge to be respectful.
Don't you agree to this Chinese proverb?

I agree! Books can send us anywhere and can teach us anything. For me, it is our weapon (as one of the mediums of learning) that can surely make us knowledgeable and be competitive enough.

Because of books, we still can get the valuable teaching and information from our earlier generation since many years ago.
Books can provide us the necessary information and knowledge to equip and to promote ourselves from time to time.
It is no doubt to say that books can change our prospects and personalities.

I am totally agreed with the proverb, those who read a lot of books will gain a lot of knowledge and that will definitely help them to be successful in their life and future.
But there are exception too, where many bosses who are successful in their business are learn from experience since young where they do not really have change to study because of they are from the poor family. The only thing that make them to be so successful is that they dare to take the risk.

It is a very good proverb for me to remind my children.
With books, poor people can have higher chances to be rich because of their better qualification, knowledge and capability if they read more.
Those who are already rich because of chances, do feel the need to upgrade themselves by reading more books.

My professor once told me that books are great investments. I'm talking about learning-based books, not some books about quotes, jokes, etc... One thing he thought me is to never regret having to buy these types of books because it can always prove handy in the future.

For me, books are the place we can get information and knowledge, no matter it is related to stories, jokes, technical matters and so on.
It is a medium of communication. We can review the information whenever we want to.
With the improve of the technology, books can be easily made and maintained well for years.
I do keep some valuable books which I like very much at home.
They are part of my assets in my life.

I agree with this proverb. I like books. I become more knowledge as them. I must say that there are many different between a person who usually read books and a person never read them.

ha! ha! ha!
Those who never read books can be "words blind" persons.
Books contain a lot of valuable information for us to expose.
With better knowledge, we are upgrading ourselves and the chances for us to success will be higher.
We can not live without books.
