I don't understand how Schalke enter the final 4

After i saw the game yesterday, i thought how could it be that this average team survive until the final 4. It was look like Manchester United played against amateurs and not like the real FC Schalke 04.
They enter only 2 goals but most of the time Man Utited played at the Schalke penalty area..

Manchester United have a bad record when meeting with German clubs in the Champions League. But last night game was a good sign for Manchester United's fans. Might be Manchester United are too strong for FC Schalke 04. Machester United got 66 percents possesion and more than 17 shots. I have read on the newspaper before the match where FC Schalke 04's player said they want to stop Wayne Rooney but the first goal last night was from Ryan Giggs. They should not take other Manchester United players lightly. Let see what would happen in Barcelona and Real Madrid match tonight. My vote is for Real Madrid. Happy lotting.

I think you should be with your girl to Real, and i think Barsa are better and we know it from the game yesterday, so if you wanna United to win you should cross fingers to Real..

I guess you unhappy now, cause barsa won 2-0, and barsa totally control the game, although it ain't fair that Pepe got red card..
Any way Ronney goal was very nice after he pass some Schalke defenders..

lot of surprise in football..schalke have really good goalkeeper,he saves a lot of goals.man united wanted to buy him but i heard he will go bayern munich.i hope he will change his mind and go to man united instead.

I agree and van der sar is kind of old already, although i think he is a very good goal keeper.. I think Peter Schmeichel was their best goalkeeper..

They are here because they have won their matches up until this stage. I think Raul has been their revelation and they have really gone beyond anybody's wildest dreams in this season's champions League. Against Man U they were just exposed and the gulf between the top three or four teams in Europe and the rest was really evident from this match!!

Raul is a really great player, although now is a bit old, i remember him has one of the best players in Real Madrid..

Every game is different and Schalke has reached its limits with this qualification in the last four. They have nothing to be ashamed for, they have done it really good until this. But United has much more experience and they have played very well.Schalke has finished first in its group, has knocked out Valencia and Inter, but this is the final destination for them. All I can say that they can leave the competition with their heads up, even if they will be humiliated at Old Trafford.

If schalke is able to beat inter milan with a 7-3 aggregate scoreline, then i think they deserved to be in the final 4. I stayed up to watch their match against inter, together with my bf, and i must say they played well. With such a performance, i don't see why can't they be in the final 4. Inter milan is right to be out because they are overly complacent. Man united could be held or even lose if they are complacent, but luckily, they are not.

I didn't saw the game between Inter and Schalke so i guess you are right. It is great that you are watching the games with your boyfriend, i like it when my girl watching with me the games..
Any way i think at the last game United totally control the game, and i think at home they will be even better, but only time can tell.. :)

I wish Inter who does play against Manchester United, but they were unlucky. I sad with it, for next season, Italy only had maximum 3 teams in Champion league. I know, M. United will easily beat Schalke to meet the winner between Barca vs Madrid.

Let's, I do vote for Manchester United to be the winner, but wish surprise from Real Madrid to enter the final. We dont know what will happen in second match between Madrid vs Barca. Miracle can happen... who knows??
