I saw from the news that Friendster will take a rest and make a major reformat. Until May 31 2011 is the time they give to save the account contents including photos, testimonials and blogs or else you will lose them all.
Are you still interested in saving your account in Friendster before it dissolve? In my own opinion I will save the data of my Friendster. I started on it before the Facebook. The memories on that site will be in my heart forever, even the site will gone.

Yeah I think they would be a social entertainment site concentrating more on games and the like. I think they just realized how big facebook has become so good move for them, I just hope they succeed to their reformatted site. Actually when you look a few years back friendster is at par with facebook maybe even better until the year 2008 when the then presidential candidate Barack Obama used facebook as one of his campaign sites which really made facebook a boom in the social networking business. I just wonder if other social networks would follow friendster soon, that we have to wait and see.

I am so sad to hear about it, I have an account with Friendster and once in my life Friendster was my bestfriend. Friendster has played an important role in my life as it was the vehicle that led me to someone very special in my life. I will not ever forget this site. I will start to back-up all my files there.
Thanks for the information.

Is that so?Where did you get this news?Well, if they decide to change the features of friendster, then it is a nice move. Of course I will save my account in friendster?why?because it is the first social site that I joined before using facebook. All of my memories were there, I will be saddened if I am not going to save those pictures of mine. Anyway, thanks for the update about friendster. Now, I might visit my page there.

Oh,I remember I have an account on friendster but I have not visited it for a long time since facebook started. My friends say facebook is more better and more enjoyable so I open an account too.Spend more time on it that is why I forget I have an account on friendster. You said they will reformat the site, it's a good move so that they can compete again with other sites like facebook.

Having realized by this, I will go and open my Friendster account. I guess I am going to take all of my Friendster photos and I will place it in Facebook. However, as I can remember, I had good times with Friendster. It was only the time when I decided to shift to Facebook because my friends told me so. Even though now, we kind of like despise Friendster and all, remember that Friendster was really one of the things that made everybody go to online stores worldwide. Online business rose and everything.

Nah. I already have the facebook account, myLot and multiply. I'm only active in fb and myLot so having my friendster account deleted would be helping me. I haven't logged on to their site for so many many months or maybe even years. I can't find anything to do on facebook, even more so in myLot.

The site will not be gone or dissclve. It will just transform into a social entertainment site that includes games and other stuff. Good thing you save everything you had in Friendster. Rumors tell that memberships in Friendster will not be gone. Only the photos, blogs, and everything you did will be gone
