What do you think of fan art that don't get the color scheme right?

I was drawing fan art the other day when I noticed that I wasn't getting the character's colors right. It wasn't entirely wrong, just a few shades different, but it bothered me a bit. I always see a lot of fan art where the characters' colors are all wrong and it kind of irks me off. Then again, it's fan art. What do you people think of these occurrences?

It doesn't really matter to me because I like seeing how other people see the characters. It just doesn't bother me and it shouldn't bother you.

My personal opinion is to not let it bother you. As artists we all develope our own style--which will show it's self more frequently the more we practice our art. So trying to "carbon-copy" another artist ... yes, people do it, and I can understand trying to understand how the other artists came to their final rendering, but why be irritated if it isn't "perfect"? Let your own art flow the way it wants to, even if it is fan art. My 2 cents. ;)

When I see any kind of fan art, I appreciate them. For me, color does not matter. What matters is the artist who was able to create a piece of creation through passion and devotion. You could tell if the colors have mismatch, but then, it depends on their feelings because the color could really match the person's feelings. Well, that is my opinion though. I guess it is nice to see fan arts.
