Chennai Super Kings are back to their winning ways. To day they defeated Pune Warriors easily. There was a concern about CSK not among the winners despite having some of the best cricketers in the world. It was discussed thread bare here on mylot when they could win only 2 matches out of five they played. But subsequently they won 2 back to back matches. To day they made short work of Yuvraj Singh's Pune Worriors.
Yuvraj Singh after winning the toss elected to bat but the batting line up soon collapsed in front of superior fire power Bollinger and Co. They lost wickets at regular interval and folded the innings at 141/6 in stipulated 20 overs. CSK overhauled the score in last over loosing just 2 wickets. After loosing Hussey cheaply on 19 Vijay and Raina steadied the innings. Vijay got out on 80. Then after Badrinath and Raina came together and reached the target without further loss.

That was always on the cards so it comes as no surprise to me.Dhoni's team is a good one backed by ever brilliant captaincy of MSD.It was just a matter of time before the team started to strike the right chords and are now back into contention.I will atleast bet on CSK to reach the semis.

Yes, it is good to see that CSK are back to winning ways. They have now won two on the trot and are upwardly mobile in the league table. I think their bowling is still a weakling, though their batting looks pretty good. The key turning point for me is their fielding which has really picked up in the last two games and that has really helped them no ends.
Cheers!

Yes, Chennai Super Kings got a victory again. Thanks to Murali Vijay, Suresh Raina and Badrinath for saving them. They were never facing the threat as except Hussey all batted really well. So Pune Warriors were never in the match. Actually they needed another 30-40 runs. Yuvraj lasted till 20th over. He could have hit more sixers and ensure that they could reach at least 160 runs. Robin Uthappa were alone hitting well other than Yuvi but Ashwin managed him before he could take PWI to more safer runs. Whatever they are in deep problems and all teams except MI are either winning or losing in regular margin.
