Does it bug you when people pick their nose in public??

Hi. infatuatedbby. I have not seen anyone in public pick their nose yet. If I did, it would be disgusted. Everyday when I go out and I have to touch things, I always wonder how clean are the hands of the person that has touched it. I just may never know if their hands are free of germs or if they have properly washed them. If I see something like this, I will definitely frown at them and walk quickly away. Some people just don't have any manners when it comes to cleanliness. Ughh... What if the boogers that came out of her nose could have landed on someone else? Yuckkk!

I agree if you use a napkin or some tissue its fine and I agree it gross but at the same time so gross its funny. I remember one time while with my mom in the car this guy picked his nose and was staring at what he picked in amazement as if he was thinking "Omg how amazing that came out my nose?..holy CRAP! new discovery" LOL im crazy and have an active imagination but its funny yet gross.

ROFL! Ewww that's sick. xD But the curel reali ---- omg I remember this one time I was looking over at the other car, some old man was picking his nose and eating it! O_O Ok I know I shouldn't have told that but some people are just... Ewwwwww!!! xD Like I will pick my nose to clean it up a bit in the bathroom but not out in public where random people would look at you and go ewww gross. _ YUCKY! At least when you're in the bathroom you'd be able to wash your hands with soap and water! T_T At least do it when people aren't staring at you... Especially not in a car where people next to you can watch you. ._.

That is really gross- people should be more mindful about their surroundings and not act like they are just at home.. Fortunately I have just seen those situations rarely, but it's still disgusting..I did step on gum once or twice- gosh, people should act proper in public..

Yikes yes it is annoying. I cannot stay in sight if I see someone doing so. It is gross to me, because hopefully they do not want to shake hands after. lol I especially notice this while sitting in traffic that I can look over to the next car and see someone picking away. Yikes I have to look away right away. I can't remember any stories really because I try to walk away right away if I see someone doing this.

This is why washing your hands is the number one prevention in preventing germs. Public picking is gross, your right. I don't and never did understand why so many people especially grown adults still like to pick their nose. What makes it worst is that they actually eat it! I was driving to school one day, I just so happened to look over to my driver side window to see a grown man picking his nose and eating his boggers, smh.

Yes I have seen it and it grosses me out bad. I have seen grown adults do this and then eat it..... Just seeing it makes me gag, so I don't understand how they can do that. Ew... Just typing it is almost making me gag. I remember in 4th grade it was just after lunch and this kid had a small straw for milk. He put one end in his nose and the other in his mouth. I got in trouble for being grossed out for some reason... I hated that teacher.

I usually don't see people picking their noses (thankfully) but what does really gross me out is people spitting on the ground. Yuck!! I know they probably have to do it, but I really, really hate to see it!

This is an annoying habit to both have and to notice. It doesn't say much for our sanitary ways and lack of manners in a public place. i guess if we don't have to particiapate in this activity, it shouldn't matter so much to us if people do it.

In public, yes it bugs me. What they do in the privacy of their own home is their own business, when anyone is around. If you want to shove your fingers right up your nose, and just go digging around, be my guest. If that is what you want to do, then great, as long as it is not done it public. In fact, I doubt I would even bat an eyelash if it was not in a public place. There is just something about a lot of common behaviors like nose picking that really do add several levels of being gross. Just like when someone lets loose a far in their own home, then really it is a minor annoyance but it is no big deal. However, when someone does it in a public place, it is some horrific international incident. So yeah in public its bothersome. But whatever you want to do in the privacy of your own home, have at it.

It kind of annoys me when I see anyone picking at his/her nose especially in public. I find it disgusting and it seems like they don't have manners at all. It bugs me to the point that when I see someone start picking his nose, I try to take my eyes off them immediately. I find people like those with to have no manners at all. It's okay to pick your nose as long as you use tissue paper or something and make it as private as you can.

Sounds like they need to be educate again regarding on grooming thing. Hahaha good thing it was not the one you admire or else you well be so offended. I can't imagine your face when you see him picking his nose i front of you.

Yes, because it's against decency and social etiquette. But then again, I don't get too much riled up about it. After all, it is to the nose-picker-in-public's detriment, not mine. I would just age faster if I would sweat those small stuff. I just let them be. To each his own. Maybe that makes them happy.

That's bad manners. Things like that should only be done at home. I have seen a chef cooking food for sale while picking his nose. That's very gross. Imagine, people eat foods outside and don't know if the person who touched the food had just picked his nose. Gross!

It's so gross honey and very unbecoming of a lady or a gentleman. Sometimes it gets me thinking where are their manners? I saw this young lady at the resto one time trying to pick food debris that got stuck between her teeth, I mean she could have covered it with her napkin or ran to the ladies' room to do whatever, but not like that... gross. I also had this rather annoying encounter with a man on the train who farted right then and there and never apologized...ewww that was so disgusting really.

Oh that habit is so gruesome. At least, when you feel something in your nose, you could get a tissue and wipe it discreetly. Yes, i have seen some people doing that in public and it annoys me too. Can't they wait till they get home or just go to a CR and do it?

hi, LOLs, of course if i see that person pick their nose and touch to anywhere,of course i will not touch and i will avoid it because its so yucky,i had many stories about it,in elevator,even in public vehicle.

You can see this kind of person everywhere that have the bad habit,like spitting even pissing everywhere!they're not aware how lousy their behaviour is!as for myself,i didn't pick my nose in public,because i'm a girl and a ordinary-looking girl,if i'm not aware the behaviour of myself,the boy would not be interested in me
