Forgive me, I'm new here. Maybe the question has been answered for thousand times already. But I just want to know what do you do when you are at home? As a stay at home mother, sometimes, it gets a lot of boring just to do household chores. When I do not wash the dishes or wash the clothes or clean the house, what i usually do is just to login to facebook and comment to other people's post. Yup i know my routine is very boring. I would like to know if you have other ideas that I could do with my spare time. You could also share your hobbies that you usually do that I could try myself. Thanks.

Hi there,
I do lots of things with my spare time. I am currently looking for an off-line job, in the interim I do indepedent contracting on the side and I also work some online sites.
I would say spend a great deal of time here in the beginning and venture out into some discussions about other online sites to see if any interest you. Make sure you can see current payment proofs before you sign up to any of them.
My boyfriend is an actor and I do some charity work so I like to spend a great deal of time at the theater where he is an Ensamble member. I alos work for a charity specifically for children with cancer.
I live across the street from a beautiful park and we enjoy walks there at night as much as we can.
When you respond to discussions try and further them if you have extra content because that will give you an idea of what members are like.
Best of luck on myLot!

Helping your children with school projects sounds fun those were one of the few things i loved in school.and there is nothing wrong with being clean but by the way you described it you sound like how my mom is.

Based on your post, I feel that you are a very artistic person. When I was younger, I like to draw. When I got a family of my own, I just usually help my children draw some of their school projects or sometimes their homework. I also like tidying up our house. I believe I am an obsessive compulsive person. I really like to clean up things in our house.

I believe you really are talkative as I can always see you posting comments on other people. :)
Helping my children are really fulfilling at the same time tiring. Sometimes they give me projects at a late hour and they need it for tomorrow. I need to cram to finish their projects. Good thing, only two of my children are still in school and 4 of them are already finished with schooling. I think it's really a mom's habit to clean the house. It's our role. Haha.

Lately, I don't have free time anymore. So whenever I have free time, I just want to work and work and work more. I want to earn more money so I feel like working all the time. I feel like a workaholic. I feel like free time is wasted time.

I usually play with my baby sister with my spare time, it gets boring sometimes since all she does is crawl. But it's sometimes a great way to bond with her since I might move away and she'll probably rarely see me.

Awww. It's really nice that you are spending your time with your younger sister. You could try to play toys with her as if you are a little one yourself. Babies are adorable and playing with them are really relaxing to the soul. Hearing them laughing releases all your tensions in the world. You are a really sweet sister for taking care of her.

As a full time beekeeper with 400 colonies, I am busy at home most every summer day. No one ever stops to talk to me, they just step on the gas and roll their car window up as they go by. I suppose its because there are always bees flying when I'm working in the hives. I wear a bee suit, hat and veil, and gloves when I'm working in a beehive. There are as many as 100,000 bees in each hive in mid summer.

I read books. I try to write my thoughts. I watch TV. I surf the net. I try to tidy up the house a bit. I try to organize. I spend quality time with my wife. I think about my son (who lives far away from us). Actually, my spare time is not sufficient for all the things I want to do (Who has enough time for everything, anyway?)

That's nice. Spending time with friends is really fun to do when you have the time. I could try to incorporate that in my life. I haven't got to visit a friend for a while. I'm just always here at my house. Usually my friends visit me. I don't usually visit them at home. I'll try to visit them in my spare time. Thanks for sharing.

We have same routine of life, luz. Facing the facts that as a mother, we have no spare time but we must divert all things and happenings to lose boredom. For me, I have a few time here coz my hubby and daughter are the priority of using the computer so I've turned to cross stitching.

I'll try to do some cross stitching too. I haven't bought any new pattern in a while. I also keep myself busy with taking care of my children as I am already widowed. I always try to cook for them and making sure that they have clean clothes for everyday work/school. Sometimes, it gets boring and I want to do something new.

If I do have some spare time I don't remain idle especially at home, I look for anything that need to be fixed.Since you are a home mother you are tied mostly to household chores so maybe you could try something new .Cooked a special meal for the family or experiment something like new recipe you haven't tried yet or baking.I also is fond of cooking so most of the time when I'm free I experiment new recipes that I haven't tried yet.

I usually do that also. When there is something broken in our house, may it be electrical wiring or broken tables, I'll try to fix it if I can. Or I call someone to fix it as soon as I can. Yes, I'm also trying some new meal with my family. I'm very open to new ideas when it comes to cooking. I haven't baked for awhile because my oven got broken. I'll try to buy a new one if I have the money. I think I need to check my savings first.

I would definitely sleep when I have the chance to get some spare time. Because I totally lack some sleep due to the nature of our business. I will get up at about 4:30 in the morning and then sleep around past 10pm at night.

There are quite a few things that I like to do in my spare time. I enjoy doing things with my husband for one thing. I enjoy doing things with him like going for walks, watching a movie or show, talking with him, just to name a few. I also enjoy reading, watching movies by myself or with friends and such. I enjoy relaxing for the most part.

Aw, reading your post made me miss my husband so much. He just passed away this January and it's really been tough in managing to recover. I will forever miss his ways. When we has alive, we usually spend the time together watching T.V. Lately, I haven't found the time to relax. I feel that there's so many household chores to do here. Maybe next month, I'll try to go to a spa just to unwind. Thanks for your ideas.

I am stuck at home all day every day, not unless i have an appointment and that is when i go out.I have friends that do come and see me as well as friends that will call me so that we can catch up on the phone. It is boring being stuck at home, as due to health i can not do much other than really sit and do things.I come on the internet looking at sites that i am a member of and try to keep myself busy on the internet, watch tv that is normally repeats and i also sometimes sit and make a few greetings cards.I do paper pricking on my cards as well as abit of decopage, that is very relaxing.I chat online to people as well that are also like me, stuck indoors.

Hi! Almost same routine here. I hope to earn extra money here as well. I just want to get some money just to pay the bills here as I don't have any job. I just got widowed last January and I'm currently relying with my kids with the bills and daily expenses. I don't want to be a burden for them so I'm trying to make out of the most in my spare time by logging in here. Maybe you can teach me some other sites that pay? Thanks.

Well, for me, staying at home doesn't mean spare time, I work at home, in my computer. I'm here all days, so I have like a kind of routine, waking up, taking breakfast, doing household chores, and then to work. Every day is the same and almost, I don't have free time, but when I feel suffocated I just want to go somewhere and I try to make a free time no matter what. I live in a very boring suburb, so I always go to the city.
