Cats everywhere in our house

I really like cats. But lately our house is getting crowded with cats. The first time we only got 1 strayed cat. About 3 months later, there are already 6 cats in our household. It gets annoying when you have a lot of cats in your house and they poo a lot in hidden areas like under your couch, the table or sometimes under our bed. Their poo are also so smelly it's hard to ignore. I just want to donate them but no one wants to adopt a stray cat. Whenever I put them far outside from our home about 1 kilometer away, they always get back to our house. I just don't know what to do with them. Maybe you could help me and give me some advice on how to get rid of them ( not all, maybe 3 to 4 cats will do, I just don't like 6 cats because they are very noisy at night and they put the "bombs" somewhere it's hard to reach. Thanks in advance for the advice.

How many litter boxes do you have? are they scooped every day? I have 7 spayed and neutered (de-sexed) adult cats and 5 motherless foster kittens. I never have adults poop outside of the boxes. The kittens might once in a while, but they are still very small and can't hold it long enough to get across the room. Putting the cat 1 kilometer from the house is cruel. If you can't deal with them take them to a shelter. Don't just dump them outside somewhere. Are your cats all spayed and neutered? They might be matting and that is not only noisy, it will bring more unwanted kittens.

I have cats and i use litter trays so that they poop in them, that way they do not tend to poop or pee any where else.I also have a friend that has cats and hers use to poop all over the place as well as spray and pee up the walls, etc, she has a litter tray that she puts mud out of the garden in the litter tray and they do use it.She puts the poop in a certain area of her garden where she has dug a hole and then covers it.If they are peeing or spraying use water mixed with white vinegar, that stops them, as well as gets rid of the smell.Hope that helps. Is there not a cat rescue home that can take a few without destroying them, or if they have not been sorted, get them sorted so that they do not have or make anymore kittens.

Is there a farm or stable around that would except those cats? Just abandoning them or leaving at a shelter will not help! Maybe find a cat rescue organization? There must be some place or organization to help,in your area!

Hi luz823, welcome to mylot!!
Sometime I like cat, sometime I hate it. I'd better to have some rabbit than cat anyway. In my office, at dining room exactly, there live 4 - 6 cats. Each time we have lunch, always noise of cat voice, ask to feeded. It's so annoying!!! We try to send them another place, but several of another cats come again to our office. It feels like so arrrgggghhhhh each time we have lunch. My advice, send some of your cat to the place that very far from your house. Hope it workin'!
