Would you hate me if I say I don't like dogs

HAHAHA. I laughed when I read your discussion. When I was a kid, I was really scared of dogs. I think about them as beasts and wild creatures and yeah we think the same, they should be in the forests. I hated them because I thought they re such creatures that will bite at any human being no matter how cute they look. When I grew up, I realized dogs are sweet. My father brought a puppy one day home. He was so cute but at first I was scared. He grew up with us and I realized dogs are friendly animals. They must be loved and cared for because they're just animals. They're man's best friend. I recommend to you to watch "Hachiko". It's a movie about a dog's loyalty to his owner. You will be touched.

You don't have to like them, just don't hurt them. I would hate you if you harmed a dog. Not liking them is fine. They are sentient beings. They have feelings like humans do. They feel love and betrayal. They bond with other animals and with humans. Dogs are domestic animals. They can't survive on their own. They haven't been wild since they started hanging around humans many thousands of years ago. I have a new foster dog that was once owned. He's about 1 year old. I named him Zahavi. It means Goldi in Hebrew. Zahavi was thrown on the street to fend for himself. A compassionate kid found him and took pity on him. She took him to the vet. The vet called me. Poor Zahvi weighed all of 9 kilos. You could see every bone in his body. His fur had fallen out from malnu8trition. I wanted to cry. He should have weighed about 22-23 kilos. I have gotten him up to 22 kilos. He could gain 1 kilo, but 1 kilo under weight is fine for his age. He's like a teenage boy; all lanky. Next week a spot in a dog training school opens up and he will go there. From there he will be placed with a new family that wants him and will love him and care for him for the rest of his life.

Hello altir, Why would someone hate you for not liking the dogs ? Anyways, i suppose you find them too big to be a household pet ? Yes, they are big but they are nice. I don't like cats as much as i like dogs, not that i don't like cats, i do. But, about that forest thing?.. Yes, it is weird.

Don't worry friend, i won't hate you because of you don't like dog. This is your own choice but i think you should try to love dog as dog is human best friend. I like dog because they are very loyal if you treat them good.

No, just because you dont like dogs people wont befriend you. Well i dont like dogs too. Sometimes i wish them to be just inside their dog houses or stuck forever in dog pounds. Im so afraid of dogs. I get nervous whenever theres one near me or just hearing their howls and barks. Hmm weird me haha

People have different hobbies,how can people loving dogs blame you?you know,some people take a snake as a pet,can you belive it,it's snake!

I don't blame you if you are not fond of dogs.Maybe you have bad experienced with dogs or some kind of allergy near them, others don't like dogs because of their barking especially if they notice stranger near them others may have been bitten by them so they have phobia with regards to dogs.Our pet dogs are domesticated animals and I think they will have difficulty in adapting to live in the forests.

I do respect people's individual preferences so if that's how you feel about dogs then so be it. You have your own reasons for not liking them. I for one, do not hate dogs but I hate the hair shedding that they left behind since I have asthma. I love their playfulness but I hate some of their loud barks especially their bites( who would?). I'd rather stick to fishes as pets since I find them easy to care for and I love watching them swim.

LOL no I certainly would not hate you if you aren't into dogs. Until I had a dog, and learned their almost human like personalities, I wasn't all that interested in them either. Once you get to know one I think you would change your mind, but it doesn't matter. Everyone is different. You might like things others don't..it's all good :)

Of course not. Every one has their own way of thinking and if you don't like dogs, it's okay. I guess just don't do anything to hurt dogs or some people may hate you. :)

I wouldn't say I'd hate you, but I wouldn't agree with you. Dogs wouldn't be able to survive in forests because they're domesticated. They're too dependent on humans, and that's our fault. That's why its our responsibility to take care of them. What is it about dogs that seem wild anyway?

you not weird, its naturaly people hate something. like me, I've got something I hate like a pig. i think why most people like pig, if they do not know pig is dirty and always lie in mud...

No, I will not hate you for indeed, sometimes there are dogs that really deserve to be hated but there are those that are adorable on the other hand. I actually hate one of our dogs because it could not be just let loose around the yard lest it will destroy all things it stumbles upon. It has already destroyed many of my precious ornamental plants and even my expensive slippers by the door. For that I hate him forever. I have actually given that dog a life imprisonment for all the destruction it did to my garden and my personal possessions.

I won't. everybody is different, you don't like dogs, then you don't like it. You may like one thing that some doesn't. Me, I don't like dogs that that is BIG like Pitbull or something, or a dog of someone I don't know, and most of all STRAY DOGS. But I love our dogs here in house. :) they're fun.

Well I can't really hate you, it's your opinion. But in your perspective of dogs, are you thinking of large dogs or small ones? Because small dogs will never be able to survive in the wild. And large ones are so tamed now that they probably can't survive in the wild for long either. Why don't you like dogs? Did you experience something that made you feel that way? Do you hate dogs or do you just feel that they shouldn't be domesticated?

I do not think that you should be hated because of this. I think that your being not into these animals should be respected. But there is just into dogs that just makes you feel better whenever you come home. Every time they see you, they just get excited. Its just so sweet to have this feeling every time you enter your home after a stressful day.

I understand that you don't like dogs, but for all the people who like/love dogs (like me) please don't say a harsh word like this. Dogs are not wild, in fact they are man's bestfriend. "A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb.
