How do you think of Chmical engineering?

I'm a freshman majoring chemical engineering in an university in the U.S.. And the department of engineering of my university is pretty good in America. Many people think as a female chemical engineering is not a very good choice and male would be able to hold a favorable position in the engineering job market. Besides, I also want to go to work with just a undergraduate degree. How do you think of the job prospects of chemical engineering for a female with a undergraduate degree?
