Do you ever just get sick of it all?

I know that there are a lot of people here who feel very strongly about their political beliefs and more power to them, but do you ever just say, "ENOUGH!" After a while the drone of the pundits, the double-talk of the politicians, all become too much and you just can't take much more? Do you ever just wish everybody would go back to their corners and take a twenty-four hour time-out?

Arguing is fun, but sometimes don't you feel that you're not arguing anymore, but fighting? Nobody's listening, everybody's just repeating their point over and over and the discussion doesn't get anywhere? I don't know maybe it's just me.

My life goes on regardless of who is President, Governor, or which party is in control of Congress. If we would stop for just a day a think about how little party of our day to day life is affected by politicians maybe we could start enjoying our life.

I don't think it's the politicians that keep us from enjoying our life, I think we are in control of that no matter what. We can always turn off the t.v., radio and not pick up a paper. I just wish that we didn't have to. It's not so much the politicians that cause most of the noise, it's the people who interpret what the politicians say. The airwaves are filled with he or she said x, but actually it means y.

I'd love six months, but I think people would start to get antsy after a while. So, twenty-four hours seemed a good starting point. However, the sky would probably fall and Chicken Little would be squawking he'd told us so before it was over.
