I really don't understand why there is so much publicity about this couple and why everyone has obsessed over it. They have taken over every news page!! Their wedding is going to cost England 30 million (something like that). If I was in England, I would not be happy to foot this bill. But, I honestly have no interest in this couple but I keep commenting on it and clicking on the sites to see why people are interested, so I am just making the problem worse by giving them more publicity and look I am starting a conversation about them. I can't wait for this wedding to be over!!!!

Simply because they are Royalties. People pay them respect and important people are most likely to be talked about. You will never expect people to talk about unknown people. You can't blame them if they will spend as much money as they do. The English have it in their blood.

Hahaha! This is funny because I just made a post about a similar topic. My ears are already bleeding. Like you, I can't wait for this wedding to be over. I just wish they wouldn't give us an update about the honeymoon and the after wedding.

I don't have much interest either. Maybe for people of the United Kingdom and those who are fond of international celebrities and news they are and I could not blame them. Maybe it is just that each one has different interest and excitement. Maybe I'd be more interested if it is my good friend who is getting married, or a relative or my son or it is myself who is getting married for that would require my direct involvement. Surely I'd be so excited to grace that day, but not that much care about an England prince and his girlfriend's wedding. What is it to me if they are getting married, it will not add up any benefit into my life anyway. Ha!ha!ha!

Why don't they donate it for Japan's disaster relief? I mean can't they spare at least a few thousands dollars worth of money? Maybe spare the extra flower bushes, whatever exquisite chocolate deserts they'll have, the curtains, the carpets, etc... i can't imagine what they're going to spend all that money on.

We can't really judge them. They may have donated large amount of cash donations already that we do not know of because they don't publicly post it on news. Knowing the standard audit of the Britons, they probably have audited the allotment of their expenses for the wedding.

Its because of the media that makes a big deal out of something. I actually dont care about their wedding though I must admit that its what I usually see on tv. I am also sick and tired of hearing updates about their wedding. As if I am invited or something.

OMG! Stop please!
I hate all this promotion for an event that don't interest me at all. I live in Italy, how can interest me that wedding? that event can change the world? Of course no! Nevertheless even the tv news talks everyday about it. I think that, except for English people, who look on thay event is a stupid and tv use it to distract people from the other important problems (economy situaion, Lybian war, demonstrations in Mediterranean countries, nuclear discussion after Japan earthquake...).

You still have 24 hours to be obsessed with the topic. Besides what ever you do the wedding will be over in a day and all those topic will be gone and replaced with another.

LOL I am getting sucked into all the drama as well. I wasn't really interested, then I started watching TV. Then I was curious about what her dress will be like. I heard it starts a 4am and told myself no way I'd get up that early for anyone. Then I realized since I am Pacific Coast time it will only be 1 AM, and that doesn't sound as bad as 4AM!!
Soooooooooo I think I will watch. I'll also DVR it in case I do fall asleep. I am getting curious about it and after all how often does this happen. I guess I was brain washed...the media was effective on me :)
