When life's pressures seem to be too much

When I'm bombarded with tasks and deadlines, I just lie in my bed, try to relax, then sleep. This, I guess, is one of the best ways to unwind and relax. :)

Can you really sleep when you have so many deadlines? I try to sleep but that makes it worse sometimes, for me. I do two things. First I work out a little, go for a run or do anything active to reduce the stress. Then I look for some inspirational quotes or look around at the bookstore for some interesting stories about life.

Yes, I am able to sleep even if I have tons of deadlines. And mind you, I sleep sooo well! :D We're not the same. I respect the way you approach things. You have your ways, I have mine. Thanks for the response though.

When life's pressures get to me, I just take a step back for a minute. Take a nice deep breath, perhaps a few more deep breaths if it is really absolutely necessary. I really do need to get back on track to deal with the pressure, as there is obviously some reason to really be causing the pressure. Therefore, I need to get mentally back on task and if I am a nervous wreck, that is really not conductive to getting everything done. When I am mentally back on track, I can really deal with each and every task. Taking care of every single thing one by one. Because the pressure is not going to disappear just because I delayed doing something. In fact, it really might get rather worse. Therefore, better to get done sooner rather than later. The sooner I complete the causes of pressure, the better things are going to come across. That is in a nutshell how I deal with pressure.

Sometimes, life seems to be so long and most of it is boring, ordinary people usually come across all kinds of problems in life,so its imprtant to find something you like, and bring it up when you feel sorrow, lonely,or hard to deal with somework, somebody.

That's the simplest way to put it. Although I do things a little differently. I setup the dvd and watch some great movies or play video games with my 5 year old Playstation 2. I'm really proud of this piece of contraption. I never cleaned it since the first day I bought and yet after 5 years it still works. If you're wondering, I have the big one, the first edition that got released.
