My home is not just cluttered, it is also a ticking time bomb of germs about to explode. Thanks to my mylotting, I had abandoned my chores... Great mother huh! Well, I have resolved to put my home in order today. It is called Summer Cleaning! And the cobwebs are a bit thick... so those have to go.... See ya in a while, friends, or my daughters ban me in mylot for life....

I too procrastinate a lot on house chores especially those spelled as WAXING, SCRUBBING, and LAUNDRY. Sometimes I let my closet run out of clothes before I decide to wash them.

I'm just like you, especially when it comes to doing the laundry.

I don't do scrubbing. I simply pour disinfectant and shut the door close or leave the house so I wouldn't inhale the chemicals. But the laundry, the washing machine does wonders... I couldn't sleep of there are used clothes in the bin...

Oh I can't stand clutter either...and it certainly doesn't help that my husband and sons are messy people!! I find myself de-cluttering every week :( All the best....hope you are done with all the chores and going to be active here again!

The sons are good boys....but they seem to find it easier to follow in daddy's footsteps :-( How did your de-cluttering go?

Dear friend, Hope those cleaning side would go better, may be the most it is kept there , the most horrible it would become latter. Moreover we all like to have be in neat places as it could be healthy too. Hope your daughter will not ban you from here.

My daughter is a busy as I am now, she is deep in her arsenal of art materials I actually couldn't find her, ha ha. I had gotten the kitchen, the dining room and the living room habitable. The bedrooms are still a clutter...

You should see my house. Let's just say that it's creatively organized. Hey, at least we know where to find things, right? Seriously, there have been legitimate reasons why we haven't cleaned as much as we used to. Health problems have been rampant in my family, so needless to say, not a whole lot has been done.

Good luck in your summer cleaning. I dread summer cleaning too. I prefer cleaning on a rainy day hahaha! I hate dust, that's why I allot a percentage of my salary and rent someone who can clean the house pretty well.

I used to have a girl Friday but my daughters do not like the idea of strangers touching their things. They'd rather swipe their own rooms themselves. It is just that they are too busy with so many activities the whole clutter had fallen into my hands....

The dishes and the laundry is not cleaning for me. Those two activities are mandatory everyday chores. By cleaning, I mean removing the cobwebs and see if there is a mouse hiding in the closet...

I hope that your summer cleaning made a positive difference to your house. When you have lots of clutter cleaning can be challening and take too much time. I suggest clutter clearinf and getting more storage to store all you wish to keep.

I know mylotting and other activities on the net have put other things on the back burners. I always have a good deal of picking up around here to do I'm just tired of being the only one to put any effort tward it. I've already done work in the basement not enough but making more and more room so that we can use it sooner than later beyond storage.

I love cleaning up my house, or my room whenever possible. It's too bad i don't have the luxury of time to do it. Whenever i had the time, i will make sure i clean it thoroughly, throwing out whatever i don't need as well as re-arranging mt stuffs. I will do a major clean up for my room, twice a year, and a major wipe out for the house, once every year. I like the sense of fulfilment when i'm done with them.

I also like to keep my home neat and tidy. But the dust, especially this past three weeks, is something to reckon with. I noticed, I have Christmas decors up my sala windows still....
