Some people are sentimental about certain things and then there is the feeling that if certain things go a certain way it'll bring luck , though i dont have much of such things , i do have my favorite dress while going for an interview and i know what are the things i dont want when i go for an interview. For ex : i dont want to be late .. But this interview i attended was the wierdest of all ,it all started with me losing my way to the venue... after much hiccups including the fiasco at the security gate , my shoes looking like a dirt bag due to the rains i did finally reach the venue. I did do the interview well , but the day was crazy and i dont want it ever to be repeated.. I am sure you guys have loads of crazy days like this .. do share ..

Mine was a crazy day of what i thought was an interview. Well, some company called of up and told of that i would be scheduled to meet with the manager for a job opening. I went to the place, about an hour earlier just so i am ready and would not be hurrying to the meeting. I waited and ask the receptionist what time my contact was coming. She said i can just wait. So i did! There were others scheduled for an interview i thought. Then someone came in and ask us to in inside a room. This person introduced herself and them said she is sorry to be an hour late and gave some excuses! Then she said that we are there for a presentation and that they need us to be sales representing their companies. I was surprised and i asked how come we were told differently and that we are supposed to have been told about selling stuffs! She told of that she will explain first and well i just stood up and told her i am leaving and she wasted my time only to make a fool of the supposed position opened.

I had one interview as a group interview, which I hated because I get nervous when talking in front of many people. For some reason the interviewer kept calling on me more than anyone else, and I was underqualified because it was a sales position and everyone else was dressed so professionally and seemed to have gone to business school or something. I was underdressed because I assumed it wasn't such a big deal. I later learned that I was right, because it is Cutco Cutlery, a knife company that supposedly hires everyone who applies, as long as they pay the $160 or whatever for the knives kit to show to customers.
Anyway, at the "interview" she kept calling on me to answer a bunch of questions, and each time I kept stumbling on the answer even though it was easy to answer them. I hope over time I learn to handle public speaking.

I have been working for almost 10 years now. And I pretty have been to a couple of interviews. There was one when my friend and I submitted our resume, the small group of employees gathered around and started praying together and they invited us to participate. They say they started the day working, praying together. It seems the owner is a devoted member of a religious sect. I think that praying is a good way to start the day. But I prefer to do it alone. I was really uncomfortable and never returned.
