Doctor tell us that loneliness is a major health problem. A study find that isolated men are up to 25% more likely to die of all causes at any age vesus non-isolated men. Relationships bring balance of life. So we are supposed to connected to others.

Do not know why solitude is seen as a disease, why the single, but especially women, when status is "single" is regarded with pity as if suffering from an incurable disease? It took me a while until I realized it, then he started not to bother me. I've come to "befriend" me, to be aware that as long how much I am present in my life, I have not missed anything. I believe in pairs, in whole, in union and communion between two souls that beat as one, but if this does not happen, we must not despair. It's more sad to be in a relationship, but you feel completely single.
Hope there!

I'm a very lonely person and I'm ok with this. I really enjoy being alone, I always feel that no one understands me, my thoughts, my feelings, my dreams, my tastes, only me. When I'm alone, I have the time to being with my mind, with my thoughts, to analyze me and other things, to talk with myself and I can feel better and being more positive after those sessions of loneliness. Doesn't affect my health at all, even makes me feel better.

hi No loneliness is a very goo dthing ., everyone has this lonely time some or the other way in the life time.Loneliness teaches lot.Depression kills people more than loneliness.Being connected can give some little bit of happiness hoever if we are not hapy with the other persons then its more unhappy to be connected.Better be alone than involve with people who cant understand our pain.

Yes, It really affects. No Man is an Island that's why we must be connected with one another. Loneliness might lead to depression. Always smile and be happy.

Yes it does. Our body is complex as what we are told and it is always affected with everything we do. Our body reacts to happiness, excitement and any other form of stress. Loneliness is form of emotional stress and it can affect our health. Our immune system can go down and we are prone to diseases. That is why we have to have a good coping mechanism when it comes to stress. If we are sad, we have to do something about it. It is not a disease and not even a choice. We have to live life to the fullest. Be happy, love, and interact with people.

For me Loneliness does affect our health. Beacuse when we are with others who loves us we tend to be positive. That positivity will help us from avoiding diseases or will help us to recover from a disease. =D
