Hi busybee10, I always have passion to learn new things which I'm interested. I'm here almost daily to enhance my language. May be there would be time I'm a bit laze and like to stay away for a short while. I like playing music instrument and I had learnt to play piano, guitar, clarinet, flute and harmonica but none of them would keep me to stick to them after knowing to handle them basically I think may be I have more interest in learning languages.
I enjoy learning new info and knowledge by travelling to different places. If it's affordable I think I would like to learn more new fantastic thing from oversea places. One of my friends has learnt the skill of culinary art from the country she admires and now her runs a shop with what she has learned. It's famous of her special and delicious dishes now
Happy posting

me too spending lots of money buying musical instruments, as well as books or attending courses which were costly related to what I was learning then. I had an open hand when friends invited to countries which I had great interest to get much knowledge seeing in person. that's why I'm still desperately poor though I work hard lol....I'm going to spend what I have earned from this couple of years to join in the trip to visit the country with lots of things that I have learned from online documentary as well as books. I'm long to see with my own eyes the authentic scenes and real life style as well cultures, building, etc of that culture ancient country

of course i'd love to learn... :) i realized that the more knowledgeable you are in life the brighter your future is. and that doesnt apply to things that we learn from our friends or in the classroom, but also things that we learn through our mistakes, through the decisions that we made.

I am happy to hear that you love to learn.
This itself is the first step to one's development. Many people are so unique that if we want to teach also they hve not interest to learn.Have you come across some cases of this type...
You have truely told that we learn so many new things fron our vicinity. And our experiences also teaches us many things provided we have interest towards them......

Ver sad to note that.....Yes, some people are unique in their nature...we cannot help such catagory of people.
I had a brother with the same nature and I too did not help him - because he has to learn how to live in this world.

my brother stopped going to school. he is enrolled in one of the expensive schools here but he suddenly stopped simply because he's tired of learning. i dont care bout him and there's no way i'll help him in the future. if i had the chance of being in that school then i wouldn't want to graduate! i just want to be there! haha

i want to learn many things in this life. right now i am learning to make a dress with my own. it is hard to learn something new when you grow older. my brain feels like slower than when i am young.
and sometimes i do feel that i loose interest in learning. but if you have many friends who have the same interest, maybe you can have fun while learning

Good to know that you are a professor - you can very well know the importance olf learning.
Because, you teach others... and also can judge the students interest in learning.
I need not explain anything more regarding this as you are a professor..
Thanks for sharing your beautiful thoughts..
Adding you as my friend please accept.

Live everyday expecting to learn something new that day. That is how I try to live my life... I thirst for knowledge and that helps me in a lot of ways.
In some ways learning is unintentional and in others it is something that we literally have to strive to do everyday.

I do still have the interest to learn. However, it would be new things which is out of the boundary of my work and existing hobbies. I would be interested to learn new things for knowledge or a second career. Afterall, we need to relearn and renew our knowledge to keep up with society and enjoy an enriching life experience.

Life is a continuing book of learning for me. Every day, every hour, and every minute, I learn something new. The new experiences I gain is a new chapter in the book of life. Ibecome better with eAch passing. However, on top of the learnings I get in life is the learning I get from education. That's the reason why I always want to study. Though I had finished a college degree, I continue studying a post graduate education. I have also studied a vocational course. Some short term classes on cooking and sewing were also a great help.

Each day is a day of learning actually so whether we have interest or not we can always learn each day. We can learn from people around, from experiences that happen day by day, from the things we stumble upon, from the things we see and hear and anything that we give attention to. Learning can't really stop unless one chooses to just stop his life.

Hi busybee 10
When I was at school, I spent most lessons staring out of the window day-dreamimg,now I wish I had paid more attention, luckily with the wonderful internet, there is an opportunity to learn on line,at the moment I am slowly making improvements to my home,A practical D-I-Y course you know a step-by-step guide that tells you, how to bleed and remove an old radiator, etc.is what I need lessons in right now..
But I think it is important to carry on learning,in which ever way suits your needs, that can be in a formal class setting,on line etc.
Have a great day,
jojo732

Yes jojo732,school days were something wonderful becuse of which we sometimes feel happy for the good we have done and feel bad for some negative things we have done. Now since our minds have matured we cn better understand and segregate things.
And internet is an ocean of knowledge a ground for learning.I am benefitted much with this net.

I agree with you on the thought that your interest in something drives you enthusiastic in learning about it.

I'm naturally too curious about things to ever stop learning. I'd love to go back to college even if only for a course or two per semester. I'd also love to take more regular ballroom dancing classes.
