I work for a Market Research company and we do paid focus groups. For those who do not know what a focus groups is, it is a form of market research. It is a group led by a market researcher. There are 12 or so persons in the groups. And it is a discussion about a product or service. They last about two hours. They are interesting and informative. And best of all, you are paid pretty well. You get about $100 cash at the end and sometime a little more.
If you have an interest in doing this, check Market Research companies in your community. Give them a call and see if they do focus groups and how you might get in one. Most medium size communities and definitely large communities will have market research companies.

Good response. I never thought of that. I bet they do focus groups in Canada. Again, it would depend on the community that you live in. Check your telephone book whether on line or in print. Look up market research companies. Call and ask them if they do focus groups and how you can qualify for one. If the company you call does not do them, ask what companies might. In the United States, most big cities have market research companies that do focus groups. The smaller the city, less so the opportunity. I will be interested in knowing your experiences.

It is funny cause in all of my latest research on making money online I "Just" discovered focus groups and was trying to figure them out. I am being really careful since there are so many scams out there that it is hard to determine the legit ones though. I am hoping to get into a focus group here in North Carolina some time soon. If you have any tips on finding a good one or how you went about finding yours please let me know, I would be very interested in this.

I suggest that you use your Yellow Pages and look up Market Research companies in or close to your community. Call them and speak to them. Ask them if they do focus groups and how to get in one. If they do not do focus groups, ask what companies might. Use your telephone and speak to someone. If you do not have a phone book, check Market Research companies on line but again in your own community. Where abouts in North Carolina do you live?
