waiting

April 28, 2011 12:18pm CST
As everyone all over the World probably know by now, there is a Wedding taking place in England - no not my daughters, that is in June, but Prince Williams. It is tradition here for the Bride to be a little late. At my own Wedding I must admit that I was 10 minutes late because the driver got lost and then got in a traffic queue. I expect all Brides are a few minutes late. But 45 minutes and planned? Yes that is how long Prince William will have to wait for his Bride. It is planned that she will be 45 minutes late. I find this rediculous. You can imagine him waiting at the Altar. But ah well thanks to the press at least he will know how long his wait is going to be.

No offense but this royal wedding issue is starting to get on people's nerves (at least people I know) At almost any local channel there's a "special presentation" in regards to the upcomming wedding. Of course I continue changing channels but regardless, even if I don't want to know or hear about it, I just can avoid it from whomever or whatever surrounds me. Can't deny it might be an event to look for but media wise it just has gone a little far in my opinion. But, hey, it's business, whatever sells.

I wouldn't know, and frankly wouldn't want to know how's it like over there, but I'll tell you this, those 'celebrity' weddings aren't bad in MX, they're awful. But what I do cheer for up in UK it's our own Chicharito teaming with Rooney and kick 'buns' in the Champion's League.

I don't think that waiting for the princess to be would bother him much since this is planned. But I wanted to share this incedent about the bride being late during the wedding. It was my husband's friend who is about to be married. They were a catholic also, and their was this catholic weddings in our country that you are given the appointed time to start and end the ceremony for their are other couples to be married on the same church also after you. So there it is, they were scheduled 1:30 till 2:30P.M. So the guest, the family of the groom and the groom were already in the chruch before 1:30, waiting waiting waiting and waiting. But then it was already 2P.M. the bride hasn't come yet. So the minister started the wedding ceremony without the bride. the ceremony ended without the briade for the bride came by 2:45, all dress and ready to walk in the isles..how do would you feel about that?

That is a strange tradition! Who would want to be kept waiting at the alter for 45 minutes?? I surely wouldn't.....I am very happy though that the wedding will take place tomorrow! It will be so much fun to watch!

So the marriage begins with the bride being rude and inconsiderate to the groom? Doesn't seem like a good way to start a marriage. I hope they have a chair for him to sit in and a bottle of champagne. Wouldn't it be great if the bride made her entrance and everyone, even the groom, was sound asleep? Or if they were partying and having a great time without her?
