Have you ever been to a FULL MOON PARTY in Koh Phangan, Thailand?

I went to Boracay two months ago and met a couple from Switzerland - who, like me, are also beach frenzy. We eventually ended up as friends. On December 10, they are inviting me to come and party with them in Koh Phangan, Thailand for a FULL MOON PARTY. I'm wondering if anyone can give us an idea of this event and what fun things could we do in Thailand, aside from partying, of course. I'm really looking forward to this. Thanks:)

I haven't been to any of these myself, but I hear these parties are very, very famous. So I am sure they are amazing! I would love to go to one myself one day!

I have been to Thailand a few times, to Bangkok and other beautiful places, but not to Koh Phangan. There are certainly many attarctive destinations for visitirs and tourists. If you enjoy relaxing on the beach, Pattaya Beach is a nice place. A beautiful beach on the Gulf of Thailand.
