Have you ever wondered what makes people enjoy life?

I have always been baffled by this question because everywhere I go the people around me are still trying to find enjoy life. That makes me wonder. Is the enjoyment of life something that can be found? or is it a state of mind.
There are poor people who really enjoy life and there millionares who just gave up. I am convinced that someone only enjoys life when deep down in his heart and mind he believes that he is.
I know I am enjoying life now. I know that there is a lot of things I still want to do. I just dont allow it to make me believe that I am busy with now is boring and second grade.
Dream if you need to but enjoy life now. Because to be honest. In the modern world. We easily forget the value of life.

I tend to believe that it is a state of mind as though you are looking at everything
and not reacting too much to it kind of like it needs to be consistent in every aspect an inner mind is twice as powerful as the conscience because that is what it starts with. So if you maintain an state of mind that enjoys life - whether everything else is happening , it cannot distract you. It takes time to enjoy life ...

I agree. I still stand by my point that you cant really find happyness as long as you believe you do not have it.

Every single luxury you get will eventually become a given. For me, happiness is a big list of things that need to happen. When these are all met, I will be, once and for all, happy. It's a rather comprehensive list, but I consider a good job and a girlfriend to be "close enough" for a while.

But what if these things are not ever really met? Does that mean you will never really truely be happy? Thats the only thing im wondering about.

Different things make different people enjoy life, but I think if someone has followed their heart and has done what they want not what other people want them to do then they'll be happy. Money doesn't make happiness as you said, so it's down to each person to find what they love and concentrate on it. Instead of focussing on the small bad things if people counted their blessings more they'd be a lot happier.

The last part is definately true. People doesnt count their blessings anymore.
