Why Cricketers are rewarded and soldiers not...??

Hi friends........ As we have seen that, India won the WORLD CUP and became the BEST in the world of cricket. This is really very much apreciable thing and also we are proud to be Indians. Also, Indian players are rewarded with crores of rupees after that. One thing came to my mind... that why cricketers are rewarded with so much money and other facilities and soldiers are only given a medal or even after their sacrifice of life, government just give their family 1 lakh or 2 lakh. why this is so..??? This is really NOT Justice.. Cricketers just give us entertainment but soldiers strive for our safety... Then why this is so... friends, what you think...?? please reply.
