A public servant in our province just died because of this illness. It is so heart breaking since he was a very passionate person who really serves his people from the deepest part of his heart. I have noticed also that those good people died earlier than the bad ones. So frustrating!
Anyways, could there be any cure to this kind of cancer?

Its better prevent than cure cause there are diseases that dont have any cures at all. Some diseases could even get worse. But cancer is curable. I know one person who is a cancer survivor. Though her cancer was something different than lung cancer but I think its still going to work. If you know the wonders of guyabano or sour sop leaves made into capsules, they actually work 10 times better than chemotherapy.

Perhaps there is some genetic link between cancer and the kind of personality which is deeply committed, who knows? It has long been said that "Those whom the gods love die young".
There certainly are cures for cancer but it is necessary to detect the cancer in its early stages for them to be effective. Often just chemotherapy is necessary but sometimes surgery as well is needed.
The detection of cancer in its early stages is much better now than it was and many more people are being cured of cancer than used to be the case. Unfortunately, in many parts of the world, medical diagnosis and treatment is expensive and beyond the means of a lot of people. This means that they will not go to a doctor as soon as they should and, often, the cancer is too far advanced by the time that they do.
If free medical treatment were available the world over, far fewer people would die of cancer and other diseases.
