It makes me sick that every time I open my e-mail, I receive a bulk of spam. Can anyone suggest how to get rid of this? HELP!

You won't be able to unless you stop submitting your email on the web. That is your only solution unfortunately. The other thing you could do is create two different email accounts, and submit one on the web and keep one for important things or for your sites you are a member of online. You will have three accounts all together, including your personal email account. If you don't want to do that, you can open the spam mail and unsubscribe yourself and then you won't receive it anymore. That is pretty time consuming though and I wouldn't suggest it!

One of the things that I can advise is to never reply to these letters. And also use an antivirus program that will regularly monitor your computer system.Good luck!

I automatically delete the spam e-mails. I also have an antivirus but it's not working well. What antivirus are you using?

Depends where your email is hosted: often the ISP provides a spam filter (cf. Gmail). Your local app for reading can also usually do anti-spam (cf. Outlook). Or you can install a third-party spam filter (like McAfee) which will do it.
First place to check is your email host. See if they have an anti-spam option somewhere.

for me there are 5 simple steps:
1.) consider masking your email address - it involves putting a word r phrase in your email so that it will trick a harvesting computer program.
2.)Use a separate name for chatting
3.)Set-up disposable address
4.)use two email accounts
5.)use a unique email address, containing both numbers and letters.
Hope it will help!!! =D
