We don't have air conditioner too, only electric fans and the wind it makes gets hot too...
I'm sorry to here about the asthma, yeah I think it attacks on hot seasons because I have a cousin who's also suffering from asthma. I suggest you acquire an air conditioner, it will help you a lot....Take care!

Awwh Whengcat, sorry to hear of the disrupted sleep. Gosh I am in no hurry to get our summer here because I know how hot it gets here. Although still chilly here at least I can use the warm blankets.
Maybe drench a big towel in cold water and lay across your forehead so that it keeps you cool for a bit until you can manage to fall asleep. Not a lot of help but something/anything to try and cool off a bit, until the brain decides to catch up and allow you to sleep.
I hope you get rest this weekend, as you have so much going on. Take care my friend.

I know what it can be like to try to sleep when it is sweltering outside. the discomfort can keep you from relaxing and sleep will just not come that way. If i am having any discomforet, I will have difficulty getting myself to sleep.

Yes, you are correct it is very unbearable in this summer, it is too hot. I don't where you living but i am here in chennai, india here it will be hot till the end of june. As like you i also don't have AC, it is very difficult to sleep in nights as well also in day time. Even though if we sit under fan, still sweat keeps on coming. Waiting for rain to come, it will be nice if it comes.

I'm feeling the same way too. The heat is unbearable sometimes even if you take a bath right before sleeping. Better to sleep downstairs, turn your fan on, drink a cold beverage and relax... maybe we can have a good sleep.
