I want to learn photography

I am one who has not had formal training but have developed my skill by trial and error and by reading what other photographer tell about their reasons for taking photos. The other thing is to study the photos of other professionals. The other thing is to keep taking photos and talk to others about what they like and don't like. Remember to listen when your customers talk about what they like and don't like about photos. Good Luck

I never took any course, started photography in 1957 with a kodak box camera that used 620 black and white films, i have several cameras, the latest is 16 megapixel digital i used to develop the black and white film rools and made my own enlargements Thanks for sharing Cheers. I've experimented on my own, read books and websites, done courses, and been in photo clubs. Of all these methods, the best for me was the clubs. So join a photography club if you can. You'll meet interesting people who share the same passion, and who enjoy sharing their knowledge. By entering competitions within the club you'll get valuable feedback, comments, and advice in a supportive environment. You can learn from books and magazines, too, but you can't have a conversation with a book like you can with club members. There are also so many websites around now - some that will teach specific techniques like lighting (www.strobist.com), and then there are sites like flikr.com where you can just look for inspiration in the images that others have created. Good luck with whatever route you take.

I wish that i knew more about photography. sure, i can take a picture with a camera, but it doesn't make m e a great photographer.

if you are so interested in photography, Search any course training in photography then you will be able to learn what really photograph is. and this will make u success when you start photography practically you will get an overall idea what it is all about.
