Many people all over the world suffer from homelessness, and sometimes it seems as though people can't look past themselves, and their lifes to help someone else. Here in America we always are so busy and live are lives on the go, and I just want to express the importance of helping one another because that is the only way humanity can continue and thrive. There is so much that needs to be done in the world and it can only be achieved by working together. Dont be scared of the differences, but embrace them because that is what makes us all beautiful. Today we should each do something to help someone else. Let me know what you did. Much Love and blessings.

good thoughts Erica, very good thoughts. Yes, it is true that we should look outside of ourselves in this world. I believe this with all my heart and try to do for people what is in my ability to do for them. I can give someone on the street a few dollars for a lunch, I can offer my services as a listener to someone I know, who is going through diffidult times in life. If we follow these beliefs, then I think we are going to do well for ourselves as a society. If we can learn to teach philosophy in schools, from an early age, people can learn about good vs. evil from philosophy (cant use religion to teach this in public schools, as their would be fights everywhere, people always fight over religion). but there are many philosophies that can be used to teach young children the value of good deeds. why we refuse to do this in our public school system is beyond me. We have reading writing and math, but we should also include philosophy so children can be exposed to thinking at an early age. Not just following, but real thinking. More people would think outside of themselves, I believe if they were taught how to think logically, since children. Most of the most amazing people that helped others had a stronger belief in philosophy than religion, usually, people, like Lenny Bruce, John Lennon, etc. But that's a discussion for another day. Good topic!
