2nd day on diet atkins!! is really hard!!

Well I decided to go on a diet since I put on a few pounds so I started the Atkins program bought my weeks food very high in protein and atkins bars which were so difficult to find :-( Im on my 2nd day and is so hard I feel like I am going to kill someone I miss my daily carrot muffin , fruit, subway sub or pizza :-( does this diet get any easier ..and in Phase 1 can you stay longer than the 2 weeks?

since you only need to take off a few pounds, why not try the south beach diet? i think it's a bit easier than atkins in that you're allowed fruit. i was on atkins for about 6 months and lost 80 lb., but i needed to lose far more than that and found the diet easy to do.

Starting any sort of regimine is tough, your body is just so used to doing things other ways.
I'd rather follow a paleolithic eating plan- basically the same kind of thing, banning thigns like grains and what-not.
Good thing is you can eat fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, and meat.
I at as much of the allowed foods as I felt like, exercised, and I still burned off a bunch of fat, while putting on muscle.
Plus, it is more of an lifestyle and not diet, so it is easier to stick with and continue on with.

Ill check this out and see what happens if I have any questions hopefully I can ask you since you follow a paleolithic eating plan wow I dont even think I can pronounce paleolithic hahaha thanx for your response :-)
