Your first kiss with your partner was.....

So a friend of mine was telling me this theory she has, that a first kiss with a partner can "predict" the course of the relationship. Apparently things like location, timing and the kiss itself (slow v passionate etc) tells you a lot about how your relationship will go. I personally think the theory is...odd, but I'd love to see if it plays out. So tell me, and we'll put the idea to rest, one way or the other. "My first kiss with my partner was..."

For me relationships have their ups and downs, its the decisions we make in the relationship that moves us towards different course of relationships and I dont think a first kiss can predict the course of the relationship. Though it is an interesting theory,haha. we'll my first kiss with my partner was amazing, and our relationship has been great ever since. :)

Haha.. I agree it is an interesting theory to play with, and it does seem to be kinda true in certain ways. Imagine if the theory is proven to be true, people would freak out thinking "Oh no should i kiss him/her, what if the kiss is terrible, I really like him/her" and people will end up afraid of kissing. haha

I agree that it's the decisions that make a difference and that a first kiss probably can't predict the course of the relationship....but it's a fun theory to play with :) And if your first kiss with your partner was amazing, and your relationship is also great, this maybe seems like another scenario where the crazy theory works!

My first kiss with my partner was a very special moment. it was romantic and magical and wondeful all at the same time. There is nothing that can equal a first kisss with the one you love.

That's so true. A kiss with someone you love will always be the best - a kiss with someone you don't love can be good, or passionate, but it will never have the same romance and magic to it.

my first kiss ever was terrible. the guy was trying to swallow my mouth, it seemed. He completely overpowered me and that was how the relationship was between us. It ended quickly. my first kiss with my partner now was a bit rushed. he kept telling me he wanted to kiss me, much too quick for my likes, so I refused a couple times. When I gave in it was completely natural.

Good for you for waiting until you wanted to be kissed! Shame about the first kiss being terrible - interesting that it matched the relationship though. Hopefully the kisses you're getting nowadays are better!

My first kiss with my partner was... after one month , we kissed for around 15 minutes completely, we were completely dissolved and lost in each other, i was hearing the beat of her heart, after 1st kiss i was feeling like i got her completely now and in more dip love with her , it was so romantic time , my eyes fills out when i remember this

My first kiss with my partner was surprising, passionate, and happily fulfilling. I say that because I always feel awkward the first time someone kisses me, and I think I can make the situation very uncomfortable, and I always cut the first kiss short because of this. With my partner now, I was very surprised when he kissed me because it was our second date, and it was not awkward and I was very pleased by it. This is the first first kiss I have ever felt pleased with, so I hope your friend is right on predicting the future! I think in my relationship, this could be accurate but this relationship has been fast and I have been very happily surprised where it has gone because I never expected it to turn out to anything, and it has. I had no expectations, and it has exceeded all those, so maybe this is a good method for future relationships!

I'm glad the kiss was great! Sometimes I think the best relationships are the ones you aren't really expecting to go anywhere, but then surprise you. Another scenario for the theory possibly working...this is very unexpected!

my husband always asked me if i still remember our first kiss..oh yes!it was very romantic we were in the beach with burj al arab in the background,we were just talking then suddenly he kissed me.so sweet :)

Doesn't everyone love unexpected kisses? And the fact that he's now your husband suggests another good kiss = good relationship!

"My first kiss with my partner was..." After about 5 hours of meeting him and thankfully I did because we live together now for almost 6 years and very much in love now for almost 7 years. lol

That's really sweet, I'm glad you guys are happy :) We're practically the opposite, we were friends for months before anything actually happened. Acting on how I felt...best decision of my life.
