Don't misunderstand me, I am very happy for the royal couple. I think it is wonderful and it couldn't come during a better time. I think people around the world could really use good news for once. However, with that said.. All day long from early in the wee hours to every segment of the news broadcast today has been about the wedding, it's all everyone is talking about. I wouldn't mind so much if some of the footage's were different from channel to channels or segments to segments. No, it is literally the same over and over. Flipping through the channels and nothing different. I think there is such a thing as over doing it. Do you disagree?

I agree. But you have a good point about it's better to have good news overreported. I prefer that way over the global disasters. Don't get me wrong, bad news has to be reported. But 24/7 same stuff on every network? I think a few networks would be surprised if they tried airing something besides the current disasters on their network. Instead of reporting it for the 4th day straight, they would air something else, and I promise the ratings would be better. Sometimes people have to get away from it all.

Oh gosh it has been reporting since like six weeks prior to the event and now it has been playing over and over on the TV all day. I had to turn it off because I had enough. Don't get me wrong either I think it is wonderful for them, however enough after a zillion times. lol
Anyways if you think it will die down, maybe as far as the wedding but I think we will hear quite a bit of the Royal life of The Duchess because her life now begins in royalty and the media will hunt her daily and we get the pleasure of hearing all the footage. Sadly they will not leave her alone.

They always over kill issues in the news media. I wish the media could just shut there mouths for a while but they don't seem to care. They are in it to make money and thats what sells. Yes so many people watched the royal wedding or tuned into it at some point, but heck every one had to when they where looking for something on. I wish a report would come out on the increased surfing done by people looking for something to watch. I bet if they put out that report then there might be a change when 70% of the people all of a sudden started to channel surf to find something on. I even beed the home shopping networks viewership went up because its better to listen to someone telling me I need to buy this for an hour rater than watch some of the crap they just will not quit airing.

I agree with everyone who says that reporters are over reporting the royal wedding.......not all people in the whole wide world is interested in these people.......there are a lot of things to focus on but everyone's so obsessed with the new couple I think they didnt notice that they've been reporting it over and over again......
