why do women wear sexy lingerie ???

Lingerie is designed around the principle that it's sexier to be not-quite-naked and to leave something to the imagination. Covering the vital bits and pieces (!!) suggests that there's something private to discover, something personal that the person will only reveal to you. It works well. The other side of the coin is that wearing it can make people feel sexier. They know they're wearing it. They know you don't know... but that you might find out. The human imagination is the greatest tool for excitement ever created. Some lingerie is, in my opinion, bizarre - I've never understood corsets, for example. But it's pretty much a universal truth that it's far more arousing to undress someone and discover lingerie than it is to uncover granny pants and a thermal bra.

I think You nailed the point of it with subject of this question... Women wear Lingerie because it helps them feel sexy in them,and look sexy for the person who's getting to see it... I think it was Terry Pratchett in one of his "Discworld" books who jokingly referred to Lingerie as "Light artillery in the war between the sexes"!

I'm with you. I don't wear lingerie. I don't even want to imagine what I would look like in it. I do know though women buy lingerie all the time. Sometimes men buy lingerie outfits for the signicant other or spouse. My husband wouldn't even walk into a lingerie store. I guess they invision great things to come. Best Wishes!

I think those women who respect traditional culture did not wear the lingeries. The women who adopt modern culture wear the lingeries. The internet and television may inspire the women to adopt the fashion of lingerie.

They say that women wear sexy lingerie because it is what they like to be seen in. i still think that women wear these kinds of clothes to impress and entice the partner they are with or one they are seeking to be with.

Well, the small part of the population who have the body to fit into the little variety of sizes offered in lingerie shops might find it nice to wear something sexy and that they will like under their clothes. I have never bought sexy lingerie, as I'm not in that small range of sizes, so I don't know the feeling of wanting to wear it and I can't really tell why others do it.

Reason why I wear it is because I like the way it makes me feel and look in them. I also wear them because so does my boyfriend. Plain and simple no other reason.
