Share the Wealth - do as I say not as I do

President Obama recently said that the rich should share with those who do not have as much (Share the Wealth). The rich have to pay their fair share. He announced his run for re election and is trying to raise close to 1 Billion Dollars for his reelection. He will work hard attending fundraisers, meeting with influential people, giving speeches and traveling around selling your ideas and programs. Raising money is hard work. Earning money is hard work too. Many high income workers will do the same things that the President is doing to earn money to live. The President thinks that the worker should give up 39% (pre Bush Tax Cut) to help Spread the Wealth and to pay their fair share. The question is will the President share his "Wealth" in campaign funds with the Republicans Presidential Contenders or is he only willing to share other peoples money?

obama is probably the only politician who pays his fair share of taxes, not because he is a good guy, but because his returns are so scrutinized by people like yourself. are you seriously defending wealthy people who, on average, pay 14% in taxes because of loopholes, simply because the black guy wants to raise their taxes 4%? objectively, you and others who object to everything obama clearly don't object to every single thing he proposes. uncomfortable as it may be, why not admit that you're very uncomfortable with a non-white being president? how dumb must it appear to outside observers that citizens in this country don't want affordable health care, don't want the rich to pay their fair share of taxes, don't want to be able to vote easily, don't want protections afforded by labor unions, don't want any fair constraints on credit card companies or banks, want more polluted air and water. why not say that the black guy makes you uncomfortable, then take issue with those things you don't like rather than rejecting everything? are you saying that this guy, or anybody, is 100% wrong? even mussolini built goods roads in italy. for republican governors to refuse federal money for roads, bridges and new trains and the jobs they would bring to their states while okaying their party's support for a $200,000 tax break for the wealthy is ludicrous. why not just vote the guy out and sensibly get on with your life?

sam I take it from your comments that you feel that he should give part of his donations to all other candidates running for president. How would it look to outsiders if he tells the American people to share what they earn when he doesn't share.

Hey Sam! It isn't his skin color I don't like... it is his communism. He is a Marxist admirer and by his own admission read everything about Marxism that he could find. So we all know what you are, by the very things you support. Taxing the rich? government healthcare? labor unions? Vote easily?(by that I take it that you mean just anyone should be able to vote whether or not they are a citizen with the right to vote, and that they should vote as many times as they can.... after all, it is the democrats who say "vote early and often")Fair constraints on credit card companies? Pollution? What pollution... our water and air is cleaner than it has ever been overall. All of these things that you think are so good is socialist in nature. This is America, and America was built on free enterpricse and individual independence... not big goverment interference. Learn your history, bucause you are severely lacking. You are a prime example of why Liberalism has been classified as a mental disorder. Funny you should mention Mussulini... because 0bama has the same jaw. May he also have the same end.

Why do you defend Obama for taking every deduction he can, but trash other wealthy people for doing the same?

Black voters may not back Obama like they did in 2008.Unemployment for black people is up to 18.2% before George W.Bush left office it was 8.1

Not if the black conservatives have anything to do with it. They're working overtime to change the tide.

There more and more blacks, Gays, Hispanics and even Muslims showing up to TEA Party rallies. There is a new coalition forming and the politicians don't see it coming.

Except that liberals don't give away money except when they can benefit from it or they get pleasure from it.

That is blatantly clear. One of our State Reps here said, "I am not paying enough property tax". Most of the people in his district responded with "well you can pay mine"!

In other words he hopes to buy the presidency... again. I wonder how many illegal contributions he will get this time from his overseas muzzie buds?

Destiny He is not the one that will steal an election. He is the honest one. If there is any crookedness in the election Bush DID IT. Bush is to blame for everything that is wrong with this country and Clinton can take some credit for the good things but it is Obama who has made this country the best third world country in the world.

I hear the Saudi's might be fighting the Iranians by then. So they might not be concerned with Obama or maybe won't be able to afford him.

If he keeps telling the wealthy to share the wealth with the poor, they may just prefer to do that rather than to donate to his campaign. I wonder where he is going to get his campaign funds this time since he decided that you cannot get them via the internet anymore?

Why did no one hate on Clinton the way they do Obama? Really, now. He was a democrat in a republican-controlled house. His wife launched a campaign for healthcare reform, and while she was burned in effigy, she and he were not faced with as much public scrutiny except for the blue dress and one other scandal. But Obama has gotten heat for things DAILY, which have done nothing but help the impoverished and the middle class while the greedy pigs in the right wing fight all his progress. You really, really, should dabble in some left wing forums. Really. Review their communities, especially when the wealthy who are in the top 1% were signing petition after petition to stop the tax cuts for the wealthy (themselves.) Basically, Obama was doing as THEY said, being tax paying citizens and all. http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2011-04-22/mark-zuckerberg-bill-gates-warren-buffett-billionaires-who-favor-tax-hikes/# Check out the link above of billionaires who favour tax hikes. Raising money IS hard work. Sadly, the phone company I use (which I am changing as soon as my contract runs out) funded the tea party, Bachmann, and some Palin nonsense. So, we have families on the progressives and socialists side. We have corporations who were given human rights supporting the right wing. Those corporations are obscenely wealthy, and will even wirte their political contributions off for yet another republican supported tax cut. Obama's got CA locked in. He was here the other day at a fund raiser where a seat was $36,000 a pop. No one complained about dropping that. Those who can't are contributng $5 and $10. It adds up. Now, let's think for a second. He will have opponents running against him. Opponents who will say that the wealthy should be given tax cuts. Those same wealthy people will also be contributing probably a billion dollars to the candidate, even though the cadidate says they should not pay that money in taxes. Wouldn't that be the same as "doing as I say and not as I do." If nothing else, Obama has provided you enough fodder to come online daily and bash him. You despise him and it seems like your hatred for him blinds you to what your party does.
