This morning i noticed something missing in my car keys as i am going downstairs.
Aha...my keychain ,yes my keychain attached with the car key is missing.
Fine,it's just a keychain, but not fine !...my mom gave it to me 9 years ago..and now it's missing.
Now forget the kecychain, i feel something unnatural i checked the key holder at the side of our front door.
I can't find the house keys (a bundle of keys, front and back door, rooms etc)
I only find another set of keys which is for the store room and tools closet which is also in separate bundle.
I checked in my room where i also has another key holder for all duplicates and i found everything is there.
I called my kids and asks my keychain and the house keys ,and everyone has same answer "don't know mom"
Don't know?,each one pointing each other.
I told them to look for the keys and gave me back my keychain.
Up to this writing...house keys still missing..keychain found!
Dear friends/mylotters have you ever lost your house keys?
Or any keys which is absolutely important.
How do you feel about it.
Happy Sunday everyone
Jaiho- in search of missing keys

multiple times I have lost my keys and have never recovered them again. I have lost my motorcycle keys many times. I have lost my room keys many times. I have lost my briefcase keys many times. Whenever I lose them, I promise to myself that I will never do that again, but still there is problem and I am still doing the same things. Sometimes the key slips off from my pocket and sometime I misplace them.

hello narendah,
Oh my...why you keep losing your precious keys?
Maybe you need to chain your keys to your pocket or in your bag.
Or think of ways not to lost your key again.
I hope you didn't lost any key today

wow...now i really believed you are really worst when it comes to losing, misplacing or leaving keys inside your car ..hehehe.
what if you keep a note infront of your car,i mean in your driver's window..keep a note have it plastered there "don't forget your keys" so you will be reminded before you get out from your car.
same thing in your front and back door of your house (inside and out) put a small notes saying the same note " IS YOUR KEYS WITH YOU ? " (hehehe)
have a good day

yes, that is a good idea, I have now tied my room keys with my chain.
You wont believe, yesterday my car got locked with its keys still in it. I have already lost the other key and this was a great situation for me today. I used to go to office at 8 a.m., but today I had to wait until 10 a.m. so that I could bring a mechanic. I was able to go to office after that today. I am having bad luck I think.

Hi my friend,
Actually my friend never happened to me totally lost keys just only mis-places and later on found it. I never experienced a lost keys which resulted to destroy or destructed the door or cabinet. Which I think most of us happened. I mean is I lost key in a short period not totally lost. Keys are the one of our things always forget sometimes, misplace or totally lost. May be the worse thing if our car key lost then the spare one has been left in the house which resulted to destroy the glass of the car or sometime left the key inside the car... see you around

hello friend,
I don't think i will ever leave my car keys at the key hole.
I need the key to lock my car so,that would be impossible to left the car key inside the key hole..unless i am too careless.
I am used to hear the lock sound that always reminds me to lock the car ,and i used to play with it to make sure it is locked.
With house key, there was no instance that we/i ever leave the key inside the house, because in order to locked the front door, you need th key to do it.
I also never experienced leaving the keys at the key hole of the door and then leave home.
The usual scenario is,rooms being locked and keys are inside the room, that is why i keep some spare keys for the whole house hanging at the key holder at the wall near the front door and that's the ones which is missing ...the whole bunch of duplicate keys for the whole house ugh!.
Thanks for your response and have a great Monday

I think if you always experience locked your room better to change the lock itself there is a lock that you never leave it lock without key. In the Philippines most of the lock are automatic if you hit the inside button it is lock but there is a lock that always need key - i think it is better for you... see you around

I only have two places I put my keys so I have not lost them in a long time. I mostly just have car keys. I have a hook by the door that I come in. As I walk in the door, any key in my hand goes there. I have a clip on my purse and any key I have in my hand goes on the clip before I get out of the car. Otherwise I am hopeless and have to look a lot.

Hi jaiho: Honestly, I have lost so many things including keys. My memory fails so bad on this. I try my best effort to remember where I put things but sometimes you just forget where you put them because you are more concentrated about the activities that you are doing. So my answer is yes.

hello best,
So you always misplaced your keys and finding it gives you a lot of trouble i could guess.
You need a particular place where you can put your keys,so that the next time you'll need those you won't turn upside down your whole house in search for missing keys (hehehe)
Did you misplaced your keys again today?
have a great day

This happens often, especiallly in the time of need. Say I'm running late, getting ready to step out the door and my keys are not where they suppose to be. Panic time, I start looking everywhere. The moment I find them its an extreme relief. I also misplace the remote control to my television often as well. I don't know what it is, but I put it in and find it in the strangest places.

hello kirinx,
Oh,that's a terrible experience with all that blizzard and you can't get inside your house because you leave the keys inside.
I think you had your door knob broken to get in or some window glass broken to reach the door knob inside or some kids to get inside and get the keys.
This really give us a good headache when we lost/left or misplaced our keys.
thanks for your response and have a good day always

Jai beti
It has happened to me several times, i think they are just misplaced, not lost, you will get soon, last year we were moving by train to house of elder son in Hyderabad, the keys of this home in Sambalpur were kept in a box in one suitcase
But i could not get it there, my son had brought it out while he opened the suitcase to get air pillow, probably he left it out side, some body lifed it, we had to cut all locks and bye new ones..
Thank you so much for sharing
Happy posting, cheers.
Namastey.

dear Kalyani,
That's too bad.
These are all results when we lost our keys or leave it somewhere.
Because we need to get into the house and the only way is to break all the entrance
thanks for sharing this experience dear mom...and good evening too

hello joey,
Yes,it's just a matter of habit on how and where to put things in it's proper places.
That is why i have this key holder hanged near the front door so,after opening the door it's no excuse where to put or throw the keys.
Thanks for your response and have a great day always

I'm a clumsy guy so I'm always losing things, my keys and wallet being the most used/most lost items. I used to hate being locked out of my house, I had to climb up into a second-story bathroom window (don't ask how, very long and complicated spiderman-like process haha). But now, I attached my housekeys to my wallet and my wallet never leaves my back right pocket unless I'm washing my jeans, in which case it transfers into my current pair of pants.

hello lsdshrooms ,
Ok,i could imagine that spiderman actions clinging to the walls..not clinging anyway, sticking his hands (you do that?..you put bubble gums hehehehe)
That's good then have those keys attached to your wallet and your wallet attached to your pocket (hahaha) i mean, you need some chain for your wallet attached to your pocket.
So,even if you took out your wallet to pay for something it is still chained to your pocket ..now if you forget to put it back into your pocket and once you leave...it will follow you (like having a tail ) hahaha..kidding.
thanks for your response and have a good day always

It is important to make sure you have your keys safe. Id say you ought to always keep them in your pockets, purse where they would be safe. I have always tried to secure my keys so i do not lose them especially if they are keys in the office lockers. Luckily i have not lost any valuable keys. Whew!

I am a forgetful and careless. I often lose something important. I've lost house keys, lost jewelry, and others. Each time, I lose, I am always sad and scared. I am afraid, my husband was angry. I really hate, with my nature. I'd love to, get rid of my bad attitude.

Losing some kinds of keys has always been a saga of my life. My mother used to tell me that even if i wore my keys around my neck that i would still lose themn. You was probably right in saying that. i am always looking for my keys even if i already know where they are.

Yes, it happened with me for few occasions. About 6 month back the key of the bike lost and didn't found. My wife was riding the bike alongwith my son. They gone to to a mall and when they returned he found lost the key from his pocket. He come and took the spare key and we don't have third key, so that I think I need to make a duplicate of the one what now I we have.
Also, few years back, I lost the house key also alongwith month other keys. I though I need to change the main door lock and I changed it within few days. If a bunch of key is lost and we have no idea where it has been misplaced, I think we need to change the main key, which may lead to an entry to home. If we lost and found the keys from some outside (other than friends or relatives) it is better to change the lock or main door settings on security reasons.
Thank-s
