whenever you are walking on the street, do you look at the people that you meet along the way? Do you pay attention to animals or things that you see while you are in a particular place? When you are in a long trip, do you pay attention to different places or different landmarks? As for me, I fail to give attention sometimes to the people I meet on the road and sometimes even I see a person in the morning whom I know, when afternoon comes, I sometimes forget who was the person I saw in the morning because I did not pay much attention. I believe that being aware of everthing around us has its advantages. Just sad to say, I fail to be aware sometimes because I am too focus in where I am going or what I am doing. How about you?

In the morning, i would usually be hurrying in walking to the jeepney stand. I usually would see the environment as i hurry, but i take no particular attention to anything. However, when i am riding the jeepney, which would usually last for 15 minutes or more, i would be a bit observant, of those people i find to be bit different or have an extraordinary appearance, or stunning looks. A beautiful person would surely be observed well by me, but an ordinary one would not be. As to sharp memory, i still have that on things i have to give my full attention to, like my work. It pays to have a sharp memory at work lest it will cost you .

I have always been a rather observant person. Keeping things sharp in my memory has always seemed to come quite easy to me. it isn't something i try to do. it just comes naturally to me i guess.

Kind of but not all of the time. I think that in many ways, it really does depend on the situation at hand with how sharp of a person. There are some times where I can remember details to an almost obsessive compulsive level. Then there are other times where I'll be lucky to remember the most basic details. I guess my mind just bounces all over, depending on the situation or to be more accurate, my interest in the situation. Then again, I'm certain I'm not the only one. I think that I really shock many people, when I remember things from years and years ago, and not only when they happened, but the exact date and about the same time. If that is not paying attention to details, then I don't know what it is. Of course, one might argue, I do pay attention but whether or not it is vital enough, remains to be seen. If it does really stick right in my mind. Really its a situation that is up in the air.

Focusing on where you are going and what you are doing isn't bad. On the contrary, you will reach your destination safely and timely, also you will do your works well. Like you often I fail to notice what's around me, especially when I pass the road everyday to get to work. My ind would wander elsewhere instead of seeing what's around.

Sometimes I am observant, and at other times I am not. I think it depends with if I have a lot going on or if I am in a bad mood when I lack being observant. My memory is the same, it seems like some days I have a great memory and other days my memory it terrible. When I am busy, it seems like I forget everything. I love looking at things and observing things because I am artistic... and I love to find beauty in things. Sometimes I think... wow that would make a great photo, or a great painting.

I love to watch people. Details are a great thing to notice but there are a lot of people that just don't realize any details. I remember when a little girl held an experiment about something simialr to this. She made up a few fake missing person flyers and went to her local mall. She stated on the flyer she posted on the doors that she was standing just inside the door and to stop and say that they had read the sign. Out of an all day experiment I beleive she only had a total of 5 people stop and say they have read the flyer and noticed her on the inside. I thought that was pretty cool. But I was just sharing.

I wouldn't call myself an observant person. I don't remember too much from the places I visited or about the persons I met on street. But I've noticed that I can remember many things about a place if I can relate it to something about my hobby. I am mad about dogs; there is not a secret any more. If I try to remember something about a place I visited long time ago, I may not say too much about that place. But if somebody remind me that we saw some dogs there, I start to remember so many details about that place that I never imagine I could store in my memory. I don't think this happens only with me, I have a friend who likes cars. He can talk for hours about any car brand and he can provide details about most of the car models. If I ask him about a person, he can't remember who that person is. Details about the height, the color of the hair or the age of the person are useless. But when I tell him what model is the car that person drives, he suddenly remembers who is the subject. I think the information is stored somewhere in our memory, but we just can't access it until we have a 'keyword' for it. Have you noticed anything similar with your memories?

hello, Like yours, I am not and observant person I did not notice everything that pass by because for me it is not really important I just concentrated to the place I will go. But if I seen a person at the road I did not forget it in the afternoon. maybe i should be aware now.

I have an eye for details and good memory for faces, forms and situations with changes. However I have not good memory for names, unless it has given me an uncomfortable experience, I'll remember. As I'll treasure names of people giving me happy experiences. I love to observe people, especially couple to see who is in charge in in family or the group of people.

I'm very good at remembering faces but very bad when it comes to describing it. If i saw you once and saw you again, most likely is that i would be able to remember that i have once met or saw you previously but i am not really very good at remembering the details and won't be able to accurately describe the face nor the situation where i did met you. I'm good with faces but very bad with names.

i am so much observant of everything around me especially persons whom i know. when i travel and when i go to a place, i always pause for a while, look around and be marveled of my surroundings. i am really a nature lover that's while i love travelling anywhere especially in the mountains and those places with wonderful sceneries.
