I really love to travel, going to different countries and places i've never been before. One of the most interesting country i've travelled to recently was Thailand, I love the variety of local food they have, and their beautiful culture. Have you ever travelled somewhere interesting recently if so, how was it? share your experience fellow travellers.

My last travel was last January. I went to Taipei with my aunts to see if the New Year countdown at the Taipei 101 was really spectacular. And it really was!!! Though I was a bit disappointed because it only lasted for 5 minutes. I was expecting it to be way longer... But what the heck, I guess it is that expensive to lit up the whole tower with fireworks for just a few minutes. hehehe... But it was great! Besides that, my trip to Taipei was a good one. I have eaten a lot of good food (try Modern Toilent Restaurant if you want something a bit different...hehehe), met a few lovely, friendly and helpful people and enjoyed the views of what Taipei has to offer. The highlight of my trip was of course Taipei 101 and the Sun Moon Lake. It was one of the loveliest lakes I have ever seen (though I haven't seen so many lakes yet but Sun Moon Lake is awesome). It was so clean, so green and so serene... I would love to go back there again. Also a must try is a dip at one of their hot springs. It is so soothing after a few days of traveling and shopping...hehehe... And one of the best reason why I love Taipei is its people. They are so friendly and helpful. In one or 2 occassions they helped us the best they can even there is a language barrier between us. I would love to go back there and explore the other parts of Taiwan as well.

Based on the other cities that I have been to around the region, I might say they are a bit expensive. It is like going to Hongkong or Singapore. My basis comes from other countries like Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Hongkong and Singapore. The first 4 countries are relatively cheaper than the latter 2 and Taiwan.

This year I traveled to Colombia to the Caribbean coastline. I visited the beautiful medieval city of Cartagena De Indias. I saw some very attractive looking old buildings there. The cobbled streets enchanted me and the beaches delighted me. Colombia is a county full of pleasant surprises and one day I would like to see more of it. I hope to visit Thailand sometime in the future too.

That is great because I highly recommend Colombia. It is fairly cheap to medium there. I found a cheap guest house in Santa Marta but accommodation was more expensive in Cartagena De Indias. My trip lasted three weeks and I wish it could have been longer.

That sounds really amazing, i'll add Columbia to my travel list. How long did you stay in Columbia, is it expensive there, like the food and lodgings? Someday i'd like to travel there too, I have a journal which i use to write down my experience on countries or places i've travelled to. My life time wish is to travel around the world. :) Thailand is beautiful, they have a lot of amazing island and beaches too. The floating market was the first place i visited after i arrived at Bangkok.
