I first read manga online. Then I found out that my library at my dads had a huge manga collection but I have so many overdue books, I am afraid to go back :X recently, I have been buying cheap and used manga at used book stores and online. I like to own the books but they can be expensive. I even read manga from manga fox on my iPhone because there is an ap for that. But I also watch anime on my phone by putting videos on the ipod part of the phone.

Yep! That sounds like a plan to me!
It can also be fun to collect manga!

I love reading manga. I get so excited when I buy a new manga that I have to read it right away. I always read it within a day. I usually buy my manga and add them to my collection. If there is one that I want to read and not sure if I would like it I can read it at anime conventions with the Manga Library.

Haha hello soulist
You kinda reminded me of my childhood, I used to do the same, buy and read it on the spot and read till I do not finish it. Back those days I was not into manga rather I was in comics.
Anyway coming back to discussion we have a public library here but they don't have huge collection on manga so its nite best option for me T_T
And thanks for your input. Cheers!

I'll read the latest chapter online first and if I like the series, I'll buy it and read it again. Since my pocket is limited and there's so many manga around... I have to control my spending at times. I have the entire collection of Slam Dunk and am collecting series like One Piece, Daiya no Ace and Giant Killing. Nothing beats reading manga on paper.
I also read manga on my ipad. The size of ipad is perfect for reading manga ^^

Hello poohgal
Sorry for late reply but its better late then never.
To tell you the truth I have never bought a manga, I have rented it, borrow it or read it online. Though I have bought few American comics before.
I would love to have a collection of my favourite mangas but I do not want to buy paying expensive. Think I should look for some second hand shop on manga. Hmm.. Something to start as hobby.
And thanks for urn input. Cheers

I usually downloaded the manga file and read it. I prefer reading a manga if there's already an anime version that is out. I'm currently hooked in Fairy Tail.

I never bought a single manga even though i really like reading several of it. It's too expensive for me. I'd rather read online. Although waiting for the chapters realease is going to make me feel irritated, it's better than going broke financially speaking. Hahaha!

hello tecchi gurl
i think i can guess how irritated it feels to wait specially when the story is in so tense mode. Back then i had read few uncompleted manga and had to wait for them to scan, translate and post online. But now days am trying to read only completed series but when some one recommends you something good you can not resist ^^!
BTW have you tried renting manga from book-stores or library ??
