My wife gave birth to our son two months ago via Ceasarian section. Previously, she weighs 55 kilograms. Now, she's 60 kgs. I wonder what the best and safest way for her to regain her pre-pregnancy figure. I have already discussed it with her and she is okay with the idea that having a baby doesn't mean that one has the right to neglect her body. Care to share some tips on losing weight for women who just gave birth?

The safest way to lose weight is avoid eating foods that are rich in carbohydrates like rice, wheat etc. Exercise regularly like sit ups and brisk walking. If you want to be on a diet you may certainly do so but make sure that youll be following all the rules, dont skip. And the best of all is once you heard your baby's wail during your sleep, wake up and take care of the kid. Lack of enough sleep can help you to lose weight. Lol

It is not five pounds. It's five kilos. Multiply it by 2.2 and you get 11 pounds. I mentioned to her about this post and she said she used to weigh 48 kilos. Now she has more calories to lose.

hi Taski! try to tell to your wife to increase her fluid intake, Not to eat a food like chips or other food that is reach in oil, maintain her proper diet try to lessen the fats but to increase the vegetables and fruits and to have an exercise daily a walk can do , for 15 min she can stop already , in this simple ways your wife can loss weight my cousin told me that she is doing this when she is pregnant and it is effective for your wife and for the baby if the baby is lactating to the mother.
