well not everything is true in wikipedia. Wikipedia's information can from the users so some info there would be wrong.
This is especially evident in science related stuff.

Wikipedia has not failed me either. However, the contents could be edited in public, which is definitely bad. I was even pranked last time by my friend because he placed my FULL name there. And I was like mad at him and edited it and placed his FULL name together with the name of his girlfriend there, which he totally got furious about. After that, we decided not to make pranks anymore, because I shared to him that Wikipedia could monitor our IP addresses and all tose spying stuff.

However, we should not make jokes because many people seek information and trust. We must be careful with these things. But most important is that you understand their mistake.
Have a nice day!

No, I think it is well known that not everything there is true. And I have even seen some cases where there has been stuff on Wikipedia I knew were not true myself.

Not everything in Wikipedia is true. The contents look true but don't be deceived by the misconception that Wikipedia is 100% true. I'm sure Wikipedia has given you some correct answers to your questions because the editor of that article is sincere to what he's gonna write. I don't recommend Wikipedia for your research works because anybody can edit its contents. Who knows who wrote them? In my university, students are ordered to refrain from using Wikipedia as a source of their researches.
Some articles in Wikipedia are already deleted for inappropriate content.
Wikipedia is safe if you're just checking about your favorite movies or TV shows.Honestly, I check Wikipedia to check the episodes of The Event.
