Yes, I have had many panic attacks. They are not fun at all. When I have them, I seem to start shaking uncontrollably. I also feel like there is a heavy weight on my chest and I can't breathe right. I have often thought I was having a heart attack. It is hard to get them to go away too. I am having them less nowadays, thank goodness. But, as soon as I feel overly stressed, they come back.

Yes, I have had some panic attacks in the past, although they were pretty minor. They weren't really serious, and didn't last very long. Luckily, I haven't had any panic attack in a long time.

Well I can only remember once but it was just for a few minutes. Well mine was triggered because of stress, loss of sleep and such. One of those occurrences that i want to forget.

I came rather close to having one, but thankfully the disaster was mostly averted. Mainly because I knew what might be coming, so I sat myself down and took several deep breaths, before calming myself and then focusing on the task at hand. Panic attacks are not really fun, when they completely shut a person down both mentally and sometimes rather physically to an extent as well. Then again, a lot of the times there are panic attacks and then there are PANIC ATTACKS! Panic attacks are essentially just a mild freak out, where we start yelling and screaming at people and flipping out in an irrational manner, although perhaps a bit more extreme degree. I think we have all had days like that. PANIC ATTACKS are when we just decide to shut down. That is really the worst time, where there is much to do about nothing. Not fun at any time, not fun at all.

I have recently for the first time in my life, not major ones where I needed treatment, yet. My boyfriend recognized it right away and began doing some research and helps me through with some breathing exercises and tries to distract them right away. They sure are uncomfortable and I felt like I was having heart trouble which is very scary. Do you best to try and research it a bit and try something to distract as soon as they start coming on. If you find you can't do try and see a doctor because from what we have been reading they lead to worse later.

Small ones, in the past. I am very fortunate that they did not progress or get bad enough for treatment. The illness you feel with them can be very real, and can really mess you up. It is important to maintain your health well so that these panic attacks do not creep in and undermine you. I hope you get help with managing them.

Yes, I did. I remember, prior to my entering college, I was about to take nursing since I passed the entrance test for the said course and with half scholarship under one university. My mother already bought me a stethoscope and a sphygmomanometer. However, my youngest sister got bitten by a dog. I just had a look at the deep wounds and blood then suddenly I had the panic attack. I run and run and shouted for my mother to go out of the bathroom quickly then I almost fainted. I realized I'm not cut for that kind of situation. I enrolled for psychology for premed. But then again, I discovered, I was more interested with Industrial psychology and law. The panic attack worked for me. It helped me realize the path that I should take.

Yes, i've had lots of panic attacks. Probably hundreds. I used to have several a day. I can ignore them now as soon as I know one is starting. Just sit down, and try to breath slowly, and remind yourself it's just a panic attack. good luck, they aren't easy.
