It is estimated that the wedding of William and Kate cost an estimated 10 million pounds. But should the British people be sad that with so many homeless, poor and out of work people in their country, for the sake of one day so much money is spent? I think no. The benefits of that wedding is far reaching, the people of England reaped some of the rewards, the economy got a great stimulation as the wedding attracted
tourist from all over the world. And everyone knows where there are tourist there will be money to be made.
Even more than the revenue Great Britain generated from the wedding it is the new image of Great Britain that was painted that has the most value. The image that the monarchy is young and strong and vibrant. There was dashing William and his ruffled red haired brother, both handsome and strong and there was beautiful Kate and her sister, both young, virginal and fertile. Together these young people seem to represent the future of an empire that refuses to disappear.
The Royal Wedding was then a Great benefit to Great Britain.

The royal wedding is a great benefit. With all the people coming to london buying stuff and such, the tourism industry really gained so much with this one.
