Straight Hair

I had a strange dream last night. In my dream me and my family were watching the movie Thor in the theater and i was running my fingers through my hair. Then suddenly i felt that it's no longer curly but it has gone back to my natural straight hair.
I had a perm three weeks ago and i wanted the curls to last for a long time as i got good compliments about it. I want my straight hair back in three months but not in three weeks time hahaha. In my dream though, i went to the toilet in the theater and saw my hair so straight again. I didn't panic though but i just thought it was funny.
Hmm, what could the meaning of that dream be? Am i worried to get my straight hair back?

Personally I'm not really convinced that dreams have any sort of symbolic, subconscious, or prophetic meaning. I tend to subscribe to the theory that it's just the brain trying to make sense of random nerve firings in the brain, but I don't think that a complete theory.
It's probably just something that's on your mind. You're used to having straight hair so you dream about having straight hair, but in your mind you know you got it permed and you picked up on that inconsistency during the dream.

Or maybe while sleeping i just got confused on what hair do i have. I too don't give too much attention on my dream, but i'm really such a dreamer and there's not a single day in my life that i slept with no dream at all even when i was a kid. In fact i can remember some of my dreams when i was a child as they really are frightening and i just couldn't take them out of my memory anymore.

Everyone dreams every night, but not everyone remembers their dreams. I also remember loads of dreams since childhood. I've kept a dream journal since I was twelve. I pay attention to dreams, but because I think they're fun and a great source of inspiration and creativity, not because I think they mean anything really.
If you're interested in dreams, then I recommend you keep a dream journal for yourself. They're really fun to read back over and I remember more details about my dreams.

Maybe you are so attached to your new hair now, that you fear it going back to your former hair, so you dreamt like that.
Me, i don't want to know the meaning of my dreams because i might one day don't want to go to sleep and dream of something whose meaning is bad .

I don't fear having a straight hair again my hair looks great whether straight or curly. When it comes to hair style I am very eccentric. I always change them all the time.

I think your thinking too much of your hair. And since your having compliments because of your perm your thinking about it consciously even unconsciously thats why your having dreams about it. It may be because your worried that the perm would not last that long.

Maybe a small part of you still misses your straight hair, and that's why you didn't panic when you found out your hair was straight again. :D
