Does it bug you if cars park infront of your home?

If you're a home owner, does it bug you to see other peoples cars infront of your home. Even though the curb infront of your home is not your property but the public/governments property, does it bug you to open the window and to see cars blocking your view? It bugs my dad to see how other people from the block, parks infront of our home but not infront of theirs. I mean if you're visiting someone or having a party and people park temporary but everyday it gets a bit annoying. How about you would it bug you?

Hi, I don't think I am going to be annoyed when seeing cars parked in front of my house. However, if the people are making noise and disturbing my privacy I will be mad about it. If they are just parking there and go somewhere else I would not give a care.. If the cars are blocking my entrance then I will be annoyed. This is because I feel they do not respect me as the home owner. That's what I feel..

If they park momentarily, it's okay. But if they regard your front as their parking space, then it's definitely not fine to me. It blocks the view of our house .

It drives me crazy when I come home with the kids, with a car full of things to carry and I have to park far away from the house just because someone couldn't be bothered to take the time to parallel park. I have had to park half way down the block on several occasions and it really makes me mad. I guess it's not so bad now that my children are big enough to help mommy carry things, but when they were babies and I was coming home with a bunch of bags, the stroller and everything else, it would really make me mad. I go out of my way to make sure that I am parked in my own space and that I leave enough room for everyone else to park as well. I just wish that everyone would do the same.

It was such a hassle each time I came from work and did not find a parking spot when I owned my house. I tolerated it for about three years and finally had a 2 1/2 car garage built. It was such a pain to come home in the evenings and circle around for an hour and then end up parking blocks away. Although it was public parking spots it was truly a pain.

It bugs me because the people who live across the street from me are illegal immigrants (I don't have a problem with illegal immigrants since America was founded by illegal immigrants), who I pay taxes for, and they have really nice 2007+ cars and they park in front of my house even though they have an empty garage. It bothers me because they are ignorant on purpose.

Yeah me too! But they're not illegal immigrants. They have space but they don't use it..

It would bug me if they were parked in front if I had guests coming over, if they were parked infront of my mailbox(the carrier can refuse to deliver if it's "blocked"). or when they park on the grass. The grass thing bugs me cause we don't have curbs and a somewhat narrow street but then people park on the grass a bit to keep the road open. However, when they do that some of them leave ruts in your lawn. I may not have the nicest house on the block but I don't need ruts to fix either.

Everyday is very rude. I could understand you father not liking it. Why don't they park out front of their own house. Its nosey or an invasion of privacy and space. Maybe your dad should start parking his car out the front of their house and just sitting in it for an hour a day. Maybe then they will get the hint and learn to respect invisable boundries. I dont like when people park out the front of my house, i always look in expecting to know them or have to control my dog and if they are not coming to see me i just wonder why.

I guess it would depend on the circumstances. Like you said, every once in a while it is no problem, but everyday would probably get old quick. Other things would come into consideration though. Did they ask me if they could park there? Do they really need to park there? Is it even one of the neighbors who is parking there? What kind of view to I have in the front? And most importantly, are they nice to me? Nice people get away with a heck of a lot more with me.

My neighbors park there and its cause they have a lot of people living their, bunch of college students, they have space infront of their home but they don't park in their house, no idea why. Gets annoying but there isn't much you can do since it's public property.

I car parking in front of my house does not bother me. I guess because I have driveway to put my car in I am ok. What does bother me is when someone parks where they partly or completely block the entrance to my driveway so I can't get out or in when I need to. It does not happen often but it is irritating.

Lucky for me, I live on the fifth floor, so I do not have that kind of problem. I guess it's just small stuff, so don't sweat it. You have already said that the parking space used is not yours. So starting now, learn to live with it. Honestly, it wouldn't do any harm to you physically if there's a car parked in front of your house. Given the scarcity of parking spaces in the Philippines, I can fully understand the owner of the car that is the subject of your anger and frustration.

This would only annoy and bother me if the parked cars were blocking my way in and out of my home. if the cars were keeping me from my own parking habits, I would pobably not be too happy to see them. i don;t know why it is often thought that nobody cares about a parked car. people can care more than you know.

It would if I had to go out, now if I'm not gonna used it no. But like if they park and open their door, turn on the sound and keep talking then yes, I would demand they to go away.
