Having been born in Bethlehem, i believe by December, Bethlehem is experiencing extreme weather conditions. how then does it turn out that the Angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds while they were attending to the sheep? What is your take on this?

The date was taken from the Pagan calendar. Yuletide is a Pagan winter festival, originally celebrated from late December to early January. Christians moved many of their holidays to match up with Pagan celebrations in order to make conversion easier for the Pagans.

Hmmm... No one really knows, all we can do is take an educated guess. However whether or not Jesus was born on the 25th of December is not important, what is important is his message of hope and the sacrifice he made o the cross for us.

Jesus was definitely not born on December 25 as believed by many. Even though he was, still there is no instruction from the bible that his followers should celebrate or commemorate his date of birth. Recorded events from the bible indicates that when Jesus was born the shepherds were out in the field with their flocks. (Luke 2:8-11)
