I will try to be brief...my husband has lump on his thigh that has been getting bigger for the last 10 days. He saw his Dr today, who was very concerned and sent him for x-rays this morning. The Drs office called this afternoon and said he needs to go back to the hospital tomorrow for a CT scan. Without going into a lot of detail, I have a lot of medical experience, work for the hospital, and I am very worried about this. I am asking MyLotters to say a prayer for him, and for our financial situation as it is very bad right now. I thank you in advance.

I'm really sorry to hear about you going through this ordeal right now. This on top of the financial situation that you're in.
I would also include you in my prayers. So, that the many of us that would respond to this discussion would make our voices loud enough to be heard.

Wanted to give you all an update. The Dr called today and said the mass appeared to be "relatively benign" and wants to consult with the radiologist and get back with us. While this is far from being in the clear, it is certainly hopeful. The prayers are working, and I thank you all.

Another update: After consultimg the radiologist, the dr has decided he has no idea what the mass is. He referred hubby to an orthopedic surgeon. The ortho wants an MRI as soon as possible, even though my husband is a kidney donor and the contrast dye puts his remaining kidney at risk. The dr said the need to find out what this is outweighs the risk. He said that he may refer is elsewhere for a biopsy because he wanted it done somewhere where they can do the pathology testing while he is still on the table, in case it needs removed right away. I am extremely worried at this point. I work with all of these docs and I know they never move this fast unless they suspect malignancy. Please keep praying.

I don't believe in prayer, and I don't believe in some magic guy in the sky who grants wishes. However, you have my condolences and I hope your husband and you both see better days.

Then why tell us that? You see. We all have to choose between two things in life. That is Christ, or the world. God made or Nothing exploded.
Unless you are one who believes in the second part. Im not starting a debate. I just have one question. What if everything is true? What if there is a Person so great that He surpassed life itself?
Here is something I need to tell you. When you choose Christ you dont need to do anything. Its not like you need to be perfect all of a sudden and give up your life. Get to know Christ and live life as you want to. But here is the logic behind these words. Getting to know Christ once = eternity. Denying that = same thing, different place. The different is that Christ loves you and Satan doesnt.

I will surely remember you in my prayers.. May your Husband be fully recovered from your diseases. Also a tip i can give have yourself a faith that your husband will be recovered by your prayers to God. Because all the God wants to see is your faith in prayers and in him. Dont worry of the diseases. Its just for the glory of God he has some plans to be derived from him so just rejoice and praise to God

If you have your husband in your heart. And If you have Jesus there aswell.
No matter what the outcome of the day. Everything will be alrite. Because Christ has already saved us all.
Money mite be a problem. But Christ provides. I believe that after a week you will look back and say everything is okay. I will pray for your husband. and Goodluck.

Hi firemom31. I will certainly say a prayer for your husband and for your financial situation. I have been living on God and faith for awhile now. I am a true believer and lover of God almighty. I have a prayer list and I will say a prayer and send up a request for you and your husband. In the the words of Creflo A. Dollar.. I wantd to encourage you today, that no matter what you are going through or facing, Gods knows your situation. He is willing and able to provide for you, protect you, and bring you to an expected end. All you have to do is take refuge in Him and trust Him (Psalm 34:8)

Definitely firemom, you can count me on saying prayers for your husband and your family. I will pray that it is not something serious and or that he is as comfortable as possible. I do hope that it is nothing serious and that the expenses are not out of control.
Bless you all.
